[Known/Fixed]I think "Baton pass" breaks online battles

I think I found an interesting BUG haha, So bear with me..

 

I was being unable to complete a single online battle since downloading E16. At some point during the battle it would get stuck with the "waiting.." message, even though I never clicked outside of the game window or anything.. I thought it might be an issue with my internet conection. I made a post about my issue and a fellow forum member offered to battle me to check if the issue was my opponents clicking away or something like that..

 

This is where it gets weird..

 

This person I battled, told me in the forums that (from his perspective) I stopped playing while his pangoro was sleeping from my drifblim's hypnosis.. Now, from my perspective, I baton passed to vaporeon, then pangoro woke up and landed a CRUNCH on my vaporeon.. THEN I tried to use wish and that's when the game got stucked at "Waiting.."

 

after that I realized then that all of my failed atempts to play online had one thing in common.. BATON PASS.. So I made a team of 6 pokemon without baton pass and I was able to have my first battle online without a problem..

 

Apparently, when I batton pass during an online battle the conection is lost.. even wierder is that, from my oponent's perspective, that's when the battle gets stucked, BUT, from my ent of things, It seems that I manage to keep battling  somehow.. Maybe the AI takes over for some reason? I don't know..

 

This is really weird.. Hope it's useful to you guys.

Hmm, curious. I will need to look into it, but this certainly sounds plausible as something that is causing a problem. Thanks for the report!

So turns out switching moves as a whole were breaking online battles and I hadn't at all realised this. Fixed for public release, very good catch, thanks
