Dragon116 13
I was battling my friend while I was on screen sharing via Skype. I had challenged him to a battle, and he chose no field. He was using Onix, his 3rd pokemon (the previous 2 were KO'd). I was using Rhyperior, my second after switching from Archeops to Rhyperior. Via screen share, I saw the battle play out on his end. His Onix used Slam, but it didn't appear on his end. My Rhyperior attacked and almost killed it with Hammer Arm. My friend selected another attack with Onix. Then my screen starting moving again. It showed the Slam attack, and then my Hammer Arm attack, except this time Onix fainted. After that it showed "Waiting..." for both of us, with ihs side showing the Onix and Rhyperior on field still, and my side only showing Rhyperior and the party pokeballs for my friend. Developers Marcello 436 Posted December 7, 2016 Developers Share Posted December 7, 2016 The waiting issue here is related to the misalignment because it's waiting for a sendout message and getting a move use message, or vice versa. To be clear, did the onix just not use any move at all for him on that turn?
Dragon116 13
Correct. On his side of the screen, his Onix did not show any attack, and my Rhyperior did not show any damage on his side. On my side, I saw both the Onix attack and the Rhyperior damage.
Developers Marcello 436 Posted December 8, 2016 Developers Share Posted December 8, 2016 I can't say I can think of any reason this would be happening, and as an isolated incident, all I can imagine is that it's just an unlucky case of the message getting lost on the way, although I can't say I'm super convinced with that, I can't see any reason this would happen so unless it crops up more, I would say to assume it's a one time deal. I'll keep an eye on it.
