TheShadowEmpoleon 1
In the puzzle inside the Devencorp? building, the tiles are meant to hurt your non-ground Pokemon, and are able to make them faint. However, my Metagross always survives with one HP despite all the rest of my team fainting. I've tested this with other Pokemon, and at one point my Gardevoir also survived, but then the next time I tried it fainted like usual. Every other time I tried, my whole team faints and I respawn back in the room with the healer. Here's the save, you can try swapping out a random Pokemon from the PC to check it. game.rxdata
Plok 293
I'm pretty sure that it is set like that so your last pokemon won't die
Eos_Frisk 0
I have this problem as well!! And I think I messed up on the puzzle because I could not longer move forward and I used an escape room and was able to leave the room. But then you can't go back to where you started! I figured it out! I think electric pokemon and steel pokemon are not effected. Because my last pokemon that would not faint was an Emolga. Then I switched out and use a different one and I kept testing it out with different types and all but my steel and electric did not faint.

I went back to the last point I had healed them...
Plok 293
When I've tested this one of my pokemon would always stay alive - and it wasn't elec, steel or ground type

One time my Chandelure and Roserade lived, and so I tried healing one and letting the other faint. In that case both continually survived after multiple healings, (I tried both healing one more than the other and healing both back to max,) but then after reviving my whole team and healing one less than he other, all my team including Roserade fainted, but Chandelure survived. I get that the goal is make all but one of your Pokemon faint, but I'm wondering if it's a problem on my end or the game's. Long story short, I'm wondering if the system that checks if the Pokemon should faint is slightly off maybe?
Global Mods Dreamblitz 1056 Posted December 7, 2016 Global Mods Share Posted December 7, 2016 maybe it's something to do with the way it takes away a certain percentage of their HP and if they're below that (maybe some rounding stuff) it won't remove it? ground and electric types do seems to be immune though. Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted December 10, 2016 Administrators Share Posted December 10, 2016 So I noticed this was a bit inconsistent during alpha testing, but I'm not really sure why... Firstly, the fact that one of your Pokemon survives at 1 hp when the rest are KO'd, is acceptable behavior. Which one it is will be random if you have no pokemon immune to electric attacks. However, in alpha we saw that that only happens in Devonyx, whereas when you're in the actual Devon Corp building all of your Pokemon will faint instead of one barely hanging on. Is this pattern true to what others have seen with this? For the record, as far as I am concerned either way is acceptable, but I would like whichever way that happens to happen all the time... until that's the case I am considering that a bug. Alaris 85
All my team fainted just after the room where you battle Victoria. My only supposedly immune pokemon (Swampert) was ko'd at that time. Perhaps if you have an immune pokemon, even if it's dead, ther rest can die? I don't know...
TheOX 0
I am at this point aswell, and just like Eos_Frisk i used a scape rope and left the railment to go to the pokecenter. Sadly i saved and cant go back to the mission. I can, however get in the building and grab what i suppose are the awards for completing it. I tried to revert to a previous save like in E15 but i just can't find the files. What can i do now? (i was in the puzzle just after defeating the second ally.
