Drayker 0
A bug I noticed when fighting Taka & Zel in doubles at the third PULSE Tangrowth. Description of the situation : My Hariyama & Grotle against Espeon & Lileep. My Hariyama kills Mentali with Knock Off, and instead of actually doing Curse as I ordered him to, my Grotle fails with a "But there was no target..." message (which is kinda funny as Curse is self-targeting). I assume it's because Espeon just fainted but welp, it was weird. Hope I was clear enough !
Lugruf 50
Curse needs a target when it's ghost type, so it could be that it checks if a target exists or not before checking which of the effects (ghost or non-ghost) should do.
Drayker 0
True, but if I'm not mistaken in double battles when the target faints before you can hit it, your Pokemon automatically hits the remaining foe, doesn't it ?
mde2001 236
Yeah, I think you should still be able to use curse just fine when the target faints, so this is a bug. I don't think it is known either, so thanks for reporting.
Developers Marcello 436 Posted September 11, 2016 Developers Share Posted September 11, 2016 This bug is known and should be fixed for E16.
