[Not a bug] Route 1 Bug

On Route 1 I found a Bugged overworld Bouffalant. In this shot the Bouffalant is positioned so that, if I battle the Tauros, the Bouffalant charges at the log seen here. Except it never actually crashes into the log. Instead it just runs off anti-climatically. I'm not sure if this is by design or a bug, but I figured I'd report it just in case.

I think that log has to be destroyed by a Pinsir, not pushed by a Bouffalant. If you look at the second picture, the log is hitting the tree, so there's no space to push it any further. However, on the right, above the place where you can jump, there's a tree where you can place honey to attract Heracross and Pinsir. One of them should be able to destroy the log.

this is by design as it is the part of the infamous heracross/pinsir event puzzle it does move the log you see but not in the way you expect let me explain.

there is a honey tree up there that you have to get to by solving the forest puzzle its the odd one up there this one This One you splater honey on it to make pinsir appear to break the log the bouffalant only helped by geting the log in range so you could break it.

So it is not a Bug but by design so thats it

To elaborate a bit further, there actually is a log there that Bouffalant charges at and destroys, but it's already been done. As everyone else said, you need to use the Honey to summon Pinsir/Heracross, beat Heracross, and have Pinsir crush that log. Here's a picture with some handy block info.
