Game window bugging out, cant play like this

The game has been acting weird since I formatted my pc, every time I start up the game it gets cropped like this. It depends on screen size it is initially started with and it isn't especific with reborn. Also happens with rejuvenation (small window) and insurgence (medium window).

I can fix this in insurgence by going into the options menu and change anything, doesn't matter what it is as long as I change a value, so the window returns to normal but for some stupid reason, every time a value is changed the game also moves itself to bottom right corner making me have to drag it around to the right place, this also happens in game making it extremely annoying to even go to the options menu but at least i can play.

I cant use this method for reborn or rejuvenation.

However changing the size of window to Large changes the zoom and if I then change to Medium it changes the actual size of the Medium window and keeps the Large zoom.

Medium window before size change: menu and ingame. (This is unplayable)

Medium window after size change: menu and ingame. (Still unplayable)

Can anyone help?

Okay, that does sound irritating. Firstly, have you tried restarting your computer? I've heard of this fixing similar issues before.

If that doesn't work, try uploading your save file so I can see whether your file has gone weird or if it is just your computer. You can find instructions on how to do it here.

Sorry forgot to mention that I tried restarting pc, reinstalling the games and that i sent my savefile to my brother so he could test it in another pc, in his it ran fine but here it is anyway.

Okay, yeah your save file loaded up fine on my computer so it is a problem with your computer for sure.

I've never encountered an issue like this that hasn't been solved by restarting, so I'll keep having a think.

Can you think of anything you did to your computer in terms of changing resolution stuff that might have effected this?

I dont recall doing anything since formatting my pc but it wasnt that because i remember playing without this problem so it must have been something I've done between then and now, dont know what though.

EDIT: Pressing Alt+Enter to go fullscreen and then exiting fullscreen makes the game look like this. At least it's playable but would like to find an actual fix.

EDIT 2:It somehow fixed itself. I didnt do anything. WTF.
