TheAndrX 0
Alright here's the deal. I downloaded Reborn Episode 15 in hope to have the best Pokemon Fan Game experience ever. But, when I open it up the first window, I attached in this topic as screenshot, appeared. After I press OK it starts the game disclaimer and title screen, as supposed. However, when I press Enter to proceed to a New Game, these 2 windows pop up. After those a forth and final window shows up and then the game closes. I don't understand this problem I searched if there were solutions but I haven't found people with this problem. Help would be extremely appreciated. Your fellow friendly trainer, AndrX. Cool Girl 86
Hello there. Sadly I don't really know how to help you, but please, feel free to introduce yourself in the Grand Hall forum.
mde2001 236
No method errors usually occur when save files are corrupted, but it sounds like you haven't started the game yet. If you have started the game, your problem is corruption can be fixed by using a back up save. But if you haven't- all I can suggest it trying redownloading the game and seeing if that works. I see Marcello reading this thead- and he knows more about script errors than me so he might have more of an idea if it is something else.

The funny thing here is I was just typing a post to say you would be the one to show up with the answers. That said, assuming there is no corrupt savedata here, given no savedata, it looks to be some sort of download error. Nothing obvious jumping out at me, though, so I just gotta say your best bet is redownloading and making sure you don't have a savefile for Reborn that you had forgotten or didn't know about that's gotten corrupted if that doesn't work. I never played Reborn before so I don't have any save file. This is my 3rd time I download the game and the same problem appears, but anyway I'll try one more time and if it works this time or not, I'll report back in this thread. Thanks for all the help! AndrX. EDIT: I just downloaded for the 4th time! Still the same problem.
Commander 876
Oh this is an easy one. The game occasionally just goes crazy when you don't have a save. Just downlaod a savefile (found in my post below) and put it in the folder so that you have a savefile. Also, rename it to Game.exe ... Once you select a new game, everything should work just fine. I've had this problem happen to me before. Unfortunately, this is the only solution around that issue (it's random and rarely happens fortunately). If you don't know where the save goes, the other guys should know how to do this.
mde2001 236
To find the folder commander was mentioning, go into your computers' c drive, then go into users, then your username, then saved games. There should be a folder called Pokemon Reborn in there. If there isn't one, try creating one yourself. Good work on (hopefully solving the problem Commander)!

So I got the file that commander told me to get. Then I created a folder named "Pokemon Reborn" in the Saved Games folder. After that i changed the .rxdata file from Commander to "Game.exe" and I placed that file in the created Pokemon Reborn folder. Although... I still have the same problem... mde2001 236
You don't want to rename it game.exe. A save file is called Game.rxdata. I'm not sure if that will fix your issue, but it is worth a shot. If it doesn't work, your problem is that the computer isn't recognizing the Pokemon Reborn folder you make as being attached the the game.
laggless01 51
What I guess is that the game doesn't check properly if there is a savefile to load, so a "nothing-class" (NilClass) is made/loaded, which creates the errors when all those functions try to retrieve data from it (programming was two years ago, I can remember only so much)...that shouldn't be happening. Assuming that you downloaded the latest version, it's surprising such a bug got in the game...
