Shiny Egg Issues

Requested to have the mystery egg changed to get a Larvesta for my, Toxic (bug/poison) run. The PC shows the egg as shiny and when its hatched, it is no longer is shiny, what is with this? Can the mystery egg never be shiny? Or can someone fix this and make my Larvesta shiny, since it should've been in the first place? I've done this twice now and both times the egg was shiny and the hatched Larvesta was not shiny.

I've attached my game file, if anyone can fix it to be shiny as it should be. Saved before the egg hatches (Will hatch soon! In summary)

The shinyness of an egg is determined when it is created. That's just a normal Larvesta egg, there isn't anything shiny about it.

All pokemon in Reborn have their own specially designed eggs, but there is no way to tell if an egg is shiny before it hatches.

I've hatched a few dozen eggs on another file, soft resetting before receiving the egg, until that star appeared in the deposit screen on the PC, and all came out shiny until this one. Even on the file above I've bred for shiny venonats hatching a few that are in the PC box 35.

what ep are you playing? because normally you can't see if the pokemon in the egg is shiny or not until you hatch it.

Oh, okay. The star feature was accidentally included in the community release, so I can't tell you whether it is at all reliable or not.

Guess I'll just soft reset till I hatch a female Larvesta then see if breeding that allows for it to be shiny by checking the egg in the PC.
