I have played it through more than a dozen times and it never gets old. Also a huge fan of the disgaea games. Honorable mentions to Final Fantasy X and Star Ocean The Last Hope and Til The End of Time because I loved the story of those games. Link to post Share on other sites

Zolfie 1 Posted March 17, 2016 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Definitely Jade Cocoon and Jade Cocoon 2, although, it bears a lot of similarities to Pokemon(I don't really see it to be honest). Story and music is what sold it in my opinion, but it has Resident Evil tank controls! Sadly, Genki(the company that produced the games) went out of business so no future games for those guys... Trevore 76 Posted March 17, 2016 Share Posted March 17, 2016 I've got quite a good list of RPG games I enjoy. I truly enjoy Pokemon, yes, but outside of that, I enjoy Elder Scrolls. It is perhaps the only other series I spend countless hours on, and I just enjoy playing it. I also enjoy some of the Mario RPG games, such as Paper Mario TTYD, because that game was one of the greatest, and I'm being dead honest about that. I also enjoyed Super Mario RPG, Paper Mario 64, Super Paper Mario (The story seemed pretty interesting, and I enjoyed the characters such as Dimentio and Mr. L), and even Mario and Luigi Partner's in Time. However, I am also a sucker for the Kingdom Hearts series, Final Fantasy, as well as Earthbound (I've played it at a couple of friends of mines' house, but as soon as I get the game myself, I'm going to have the dankiest of times once again.). I also want to get into some other RPGs, such as Persona, Xeno(saga, gears, blade, Mostly Xenoblade though, because of Xenoblade Chronicles X for Wii U,) and Fire Emblem (Smash Bros made me so hype for FE. I know that it's a different kind of game compared to Smash, but after seeing some gameplay, I got interested). Link to post Share on other sites
torpedocat 0 Posted March 17, 2016 Share Posted March 17, 2016 Assuming that I'm too old, even for this forums standards (not just pkm), and since pokemon are NOT an RPG genre games (but rather TBS), I'd probably say... Dragon warrior 7 (first RPG I ever touched).... hmmmm, on the other hand I love Tolkien's world, so maybe Lord of the Rings Online should be the answer. Link to post Share on other sites
