I also added a few smaller details to the song and fixed the timing of the white noise rise/fall sound effects, so that shouldn't be off anymore either. Glad you fixed because something is off with the previous music but cant tell it right off the bat so good job on this one! Also Ivere Region's map looks neat. It's overall map is simple but I can see that the region will be as complex as Reborn and Rejuv. Oh, speaking of complexity, seeing how Reborn is corrupted and Aevium is shattered, is there that kind of 'disaster' in Ivere? (You don't have to spoil it, though. This time it's the music that'll play in Celandine city, the city in which the first gym is located! It's subject to change though, since I feel like something is missing, but for now I'll leave it like this. Still, feelsgoodtohavethatmusicvibegoingstrongman.png I tried going for something more jazz-y since Celandine city is a city bustling with life during the day AND night, so you kind of get this feel of "This is the big city!" and such. Celandine is going to be filled with nooks and crannies to explore, and is also one of the biggest cities you'll find yourself in during the entire game. This is also the reason why I still feel like the song will change before release since I don't want it to sound too repetetive, because you're going to be spending a lot of time in Celandine for sidequests and such. However, if I pass this block on the first try and don't have an extension panel that I'll have to deal with, I will have another 3 weeks off from school from half April to somewhere in May so I can work on things again. Progress is just pretty slow at the moment due to above mentioned reasons. If I pass the current block in one go, I won't have to do an extension panel. If that's the case, then I'll be able to pick up the pace again for 3 weeks, halfway april or so! Also, I now have a definitive list of each type of gym in order of appearance, so no switching around anymore (which, probably unbeknownst to quite some people, I've been doing a LOT), so I hope you guys are curious for the lineup becaaUUUUUUUSSSEEEEE IT ISSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS.... ...i'm not telling you yet :] Still, I've got something to show you as well! I finally made a few more backsprites! I finished the male MC backsprites, as well as Adelinde's because yes-- you will be partnering up with her during V1! When remains a secret though, but here's a sneak peek! Male MC backsprites Adelinde ...and a small bonus preview for some artwork that will appear ingame during the intro as well~ There will also be a variations of these drawings for the male MC, but I haven't gotten around to making those yet, sorry ;w; ANYWAYS YEAH. I swear I'll try to get more work done as soon as life allows me to do so, so sorry for the slow updates lately ;_; Hope you guys are still looking forward to more though! Here's a few screenshots I took in Rejuvenation for testing purposes: There are still a few small cosmetic touch-ups that i have to do because there's still a few things that are irking me (such as a line of pixels randomly appearing when selecting a move, or the shiny icon not fitting with the rest), so I'll probably have that fixed at some point. I haven't made a decision regarding those yet, so I'd like to get some input on this. I listed a few options which you can choose from, but if you have any other ideas, I'd love to hear them! Anyways, that's the only thing I can say for now which is of importance, aside from that I'm still working on getting the graphics all done. I made several overworld sprites recently so there's been progress for that too. I rrreaally hope to have all the overworld sprites done by the end of April (school is keeping me busy as of right now so for the next few weeks i probably won't be able to do much about those) just so I have those out of the way, and after that I'll probably focus on UI sprites and such, as in making the summary screens and all that jazz more fancy like I did with the battle interface as well! :] ...okay fine i'll show one more thing but it's more V2 stuff than anything else and it's only a concept, but here, have a character that you may or may not see in V2 i should stop working ahead i'm supposed to focus on V1 first kajdhgskjhgasdkh OKAY THATS IT FOR NOW BYe Link to post Share on other sites
