AenaonDusky 51 Posted January 31, 2018 Share Posted January 31, 2018 Alright, I've seen (and listened to) your work, and I have to say that I ADORE the Admin Battle Theme.. even the non-reworked version you put up on youtube...(I kinda like that...more?) You definitely nailed the RPG feel with customary - yet strong melody, so that's great! I'll listen to your other tracks when I'm free. Global Mods Zumi 2466 Posted February 26, 2018 Author Global Mods Share Posted February 26, 2018 OK NO I DIDN'T DIE BUT I FELT LIKE I SHOULD EXPLAIN WHAT HAPPENED IN THE PAST FEW WEEKS so uh i initially intended to finish all the mapping during my break between block B and C of school!!! but that didn't happen because i ended up getting a bunch of commissions that i needed to work on, and an even bigger "big oof" was that, like a dumbass, i overexerted my wrist about two weeks ago and am now walking around with a brace around my right wrist and hand whenever im drawing. oops. I've been working on portfolio stuff since I've able to draw again and since i use my tablet often while mapping, i haven't really made progress on mapping since uhhhhhhhh........ late january-early february and i apologize for that i mostly want to hit my own head against the wall though for still not having finished mapping WHILE I COULD'VE BEEN DONE WITH ALL THAT JAZZ A LONG TIME AGO but okay. i will finish mapping eventually. not this week tho because i'm going to a con and i wanna wrap up several commissions this week BUT AFTER THIS WEEKEND i'm hopefully gonna pick up the pace slowly again so you'll see more progress after then!! Following fan games means you need some patience. And considering that fan games got smaller teams, less resources and still better story than the original brand makes it more than worth it. I have plenty of "Why is this taking forever" moments when doing stuff for modding even. The most important thing is this: you only have two hands, one body, and one mind. Nothing for this game is worth sacrificing one of those things. Just make sure to take care of yourself and remember these things will get done eventually so long as you pace yourself properly. Global Mods Zumi 2466 Posted March 18, 2018 Author Global Mods Share Posted March 18, 2018 i am so sO SO incredibly happy to announce that the mapping for v1 is done. now i can finally move on to eventing!! v1 is edging closer and closer to release, slowly but surely. it'll take a while until i've made everything balanced of course, and you can't expect V1 to be 100% balanced from the get go (as that's difficult w/ 18 starters), but I'll do my best to get it to a decent state before release. good lord i can't wait tbh, i'm so incredibly excited to get to work on eventing now ;~; i've been waiting to continue with it since I decided to do all the mapping first before eventing, but now I can finally get started ahHHHHHHHHHHHH Link to post Share on other sites

I still need to do stuff for the Pokemon Lab, but other than that, the town itself has its story fully working. I'm probably going to try to do at least something for it every evening, but we'll see how much time I can spend on it when I also have school and commissions to worry about lmao In any case, eventing is now officially in progress! I'm definitely looking forward to hearing some new music in a fan game. I understand it's difficult to acquire a team to work for free (even harder if you're doing so much yourself) but every fan game seems to copy/paste Glitch City music for the entire soundtrack without switching it up with a handful of original tracks (as great as she is, too much of a good thing is a bad thing). People appreciate the attention to detail SO much, even those that don't voice their appreciation.
