the-frenchiest-fry 0
so I just got this game pretty recently, just got my first badge and I'm spending some time training and catching pokemon around peridot ward. i decided to head back into that building in opal ward where we got our first pokemon, when i just took a right step, and ended up bumping into the wall with that little error sound playing. except, it kept happening. over and over, I can't move at all from this spot and that darn sound won't stop. I've reloaded the game multiple times, and I checked my computer keys so I don't think It's a sticky key (plus it's working fine for other things), so I'm not sure exactly what else to do about this. mde2001 236
Try restarting your computer first. It sounds simple but often can fix issues like this. If that doesn't work upload your save file and I'll take a look at it for your (instructions on how to do so here: http://www.pokemonreborn.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=16421)
DashingStorm 3
If you've re-entered the Grand Hall and your character instantly bumps into the wall, it's because of a previously "fixed" save. What happened (most likely), is that your character triggered the "Books?! Books!?" thing, someone on the forums probably un-stuck your character and put you either somewhere "safe" inside the Grand Hall, or outside of it. There's no known fix for this issue, as the current release of the game has this "event" with the books scripted and if it had ever been triggered, it'll automatically send you to that same spot infinitely when you (re)-enter the Grand Hall. All that can really be done to more or less prevent this from happening, is to restore your savefile to prior to triggering the "Books?! Books!?" event.
