ThePersonThatNeverWasRoxas 0 Posted January 18, 2016 Share Posted January 18, 2016 OK so I have been looking around and haven't found a solution to this problem I was playing reborn and looking for a shiny poochyena and while looking for it i ran into a shiny trubbish and after I caught I was running back to the pokemon center to put it into a box but on my way there I got a message saying script hanging error or something and then the game closed I didnt save and I didnt get another trubbish and never got that error again but ever since then my game was been lagging and running a lot slower than it did before and I was wondering if there was anyway to fix this or if there is a way to save my save file and re download the game and start from where I am now because I dont want to reset for another shiny chimchar and poochyena. Script hanging errors are caused by the game running slowly on your computer. They shouldn't cause lag in the future so by the sounds of things your issue is that your computer is having trouble running the game more recently. This could be caused by you trying to run too many programs at once but other than trying to run less stuff there isn't a solid way to fix lag in the game for you. They're working on delagging some areas in E16. If you want to try redownloading the game (I don't think this will do anything, but it is worth a shot) you can keep your save data as long as you extract the copy that you download into the same folder as you are currently playing it in. Your save data is kept in your computers C drive rather than in the actual game folder so redownloading the game won't cause you to lose it provided you are playing from the place you were originally.
