Weather Disappeared

So I saw the old post about weather changes disappearing being related to messing with date to manipulate the weather. My issue is slightly different in that I recently started a new save and after playing on it for about 2 weeks I noticed that I hadn't had a single weather change. I haven't changed the date at all on my laptop, until today to check and see if I was imagining things. To top it all off the tv says how great it is that Reborn is having clear skies all week long, which just adds insult to injury. Anyone have any idea how to fix this, or if it can be fixed?

Edit: So to make things weirder I kept playing with this and somehow got my weather back??? I went to the Grand Hall(closest TV) and switched my weather 2 days ahead, something I had tried before, this time though the weather changed properly to windy when i exited the building. To make things stranger it seemed to fix my weather retroactively as well, because when I set it back to the current date the weather was now Rainy, and the tv report had changed, before it had been sunny with tv to match. So, nice that it fixed itsel, but if anyone knows what happened I'd still like to know
