I searched for the same topic beforehand, but wasn't able to find one regarding this spot.

So, anyways, I'm at the Adventurine Forest, wrapping up most of the sidequest stuff in it, and came across this(check the picture attached)

I haven't removed the log yet(still figuring out how), but just wanted to warn anyone that it is indeed possible to become stuck there, especially if you saved afterwards. I hadn't, thankfully.

There are no flowers anywhere to step on, magically get drugged and then wake up outside? Because it is possible to get stuck, but there are always flowers in locations such as that

The location I was in was like a cage; an 8 block cell with a log blocking you on one side and a ledge on the other. The flowers you are talking about were not present where I was, if you look at the picture.

I've actually got stuck there before, I just reset to get out. I didn't mention it because I thought people knew about it. But trust me getting stuck there isn't fun especially if you're trying to clear route 1.

Remember, always bring ESCAPE ROPE! I once was trapped, except not there. There's no fun in being trapped, especially there since most traps occur there. I never used my escape rope so I didn't thought it would work but it did!

I doubt you can use an escape rope to get away in a forest... i think the point is to save often and have backups.

Anyways, if that log a Pinsir log or a Bouffalant log? I'm sure it was a Bouffalant one

Agreed, I doubt you can escape rope. I'm in the middle of the 8th gym, I'll test it once I get out, and share the result.

But yeah, it was a Bouffalant log.

Technically, you can spend your time running around in the grass and getting killed by the wild mons until all your mons are fainted, teleporting you out, but that takes a lot of time and in-game money...

I used one actually, it teleported me to the front entrance. You can try it if you want.

That's definitely true, you could. But I don't think that should ever be your only option guaranteed option.

Thanks, I ended up trying it as well. Escape ropes do work. I only had three on me at the time, so I wouldn't find it hard to believe if someone ran into that trouble area without an escape rope. Hopefully they see this topic if that ever happens :/
