Blackscreen after selecting "New Game"

Hey guys I'm new here ;3

I recently downloaded reborn and when I start it, this is what happens:

[Game doesn't respond, launcher gets black screen and I can only close it with task manager]

I tried waiting for about 10 minutes, also tried redownloading the game using another mirror and also changed this setting as suggested in multiple topics i read, but nothing worked;

[it's German but you get the point]

Also, I'm on Windows 10 if that helps.

Pls halp, I wanna play so bad ;A;

have you tried playing it in win7 compatibility mode? also try adding the game as an exemption to your antivirus

could also be a problem with extracting the files properly

I already tried WinXP compatibility mode and nothing changed : /

Just tried turning my antivirus off and nothing changed as well

Oh that issue. Well, you need to sometimes have a save file on there then click new game. Don't ask me, I don't understand it either. But you'll need to go to computer, select your driver - users - your name - saved games - Pokemon Reborn - and plop this file in there then select new game and it should work. And change the name to game.rxdata

Huh. Hmm...my only guess is that something didn't download right (it happens). That's the only issue I know about other than the download not working. If you click outside of the screen, the game pauses temporarily though, but that doesn't seem to be the issue.

You're not the first to have issues with Reborn on W10 and honestly, I don't know what's causing this problem either.

Re-downloading the game and extracting it again is a possible solution.

For the record, you're not playing it directly from the zip file itself, right? You need to extract the file into a seperate folder and run the Game.exe from the folder, not the zip.

Yes I unzipped it as properly and tried twice, but nothing helped : /

Is there a download for an older version instead? If that works, I'll just wait for a newer version x)

I think there are a couple errors with this one, but the only reason I'm doing this is because of not being able to resolve the issue. I'm going to disable the link after a week so please download this before then.
