Can't launch game

Firstly, are you running the Game.exe in the Pokemon Reborn folder?

- If not, you should.

If above doesn't apply to your situation; Is your anti-virus enabled?

- If it is, disable it and add Game.exe to its exceptions

If the above doesn't apply to your situation again; What OS are you running (W7/W8/W10/MAC/Linux)?

Just to be absolutely sure; Did you actually extract the game from its zip file into a seperate folder and not actually try to run it from the zip file itself?

As in: Right-click the zip file and "extract" or "extract here"

If that doesn't fix your issue, I honestly don't know what's going on.

Having the same problem :( The view does resize though after a few seconds, but unfortunately keeps the black screen and unresponsiveness nonetheless. Hoping this isn't a major issue because I'm very eager to give the game a go :D!

Which download link have you guys all been using to download the game?

I (and other deve team members) really don't know what's causing the issue at hand.. We're trying just about everything in our current power. :[

I've tried both GameFront and Mega mirrors but neither seemed to give a positive outcome. Still appreciate every bit of help you are able to offer Buster :) I'll go and change some settings to see if any of that helps.

Do other RMXP/Essentials games produce the same issue? To my knowledge this is just something that happens with RMXP games on certain computers, for a reason we're not able to identify.

I have now tried to run Ao Oni v6.23 and Pokemon Infernal Red Demo 1.0.0 to pinpoint the issue as they both run on the same library as Reborn does (as far as I can tell). While both at first crashed as well, changing the DEP settings resulted in Ao Oni to be working like a charm. With Infernal Red, however, I celebrated too soon. After adding the executable to the DEP filter it did show an initial "welcome" screen (Yay!), but soon after it once again faded to black and froze.. leaving me thinking that the issue is caused by the Pokémon Essentials pack.
