What Has Pokemon Reborn Taught You?

To never trust green haired characters (yes I'm talking about Fern here)

Also, to never give up. Because, maybe it will take some time, some more effort, better strategy or simply some luck, but eventually you will be able to defeat even the hardest enemy.

Julia is green haired too. She is also not trustworthy. Coincidence? I think not.

Know who else has green hair? Lin. Which means that Lin is the mother of all three.

... oh shit

Reborn taught me that when the going gets tough, you rotate your team.

I learnt that any thing is possible, like burn stalling arceus, sweeping Radomus or having fun while playing a game I thought would be beneath me. I later found out how wrong I was. The best thing reborn taught me was that easy and I will and natures mattered.

#1 It taught me how to actually play Pokemon. With official games, I never had to develop any strategy, I hardly used non-attack moves and just relied on a few Pokemon for the entire game.

#2 Requires you to grow, think, and fully utilize what you can in order to progress.

#3 It strengthened my belief that the best & most creative ideas come from the mod/fan community. Often they surpass and do way more justice than what arbitrarily hired developers come up with. Delivering on all fronts with uncensored and passion driven content.

I wouldn't say it's arbitrary. Nintendo/GF/Pokemon have to be careful with what content they put in (remember, it's aimed so that even children as young as 5 can play). In addition, I believe the developers they hire are more for improvement of the system not the story. My proof is that the games have gradually added better graphics and significant amounts of content that most fan games can't/won't copy (GTS, Contests).

Reborn taught me that a Pokemon game can finally be mature and be story focused without being annoying.

Most other Pokemon games annoyed me with that simple plot and those stupid people blocking you without reason (Like those blackouts, same excuse repeated all the time)

In Reborn, those blockades actually makes sence and really feel like a part of the story instead of just "Well, beating this gym leader will magicaly turn all light on again".

Also, useful police. Unlike the 3 police officers that does nothing but block you the way cause he's thirsty.
