ChineseSkyCandy 0 Posted August 21, 2015 Share Posted August 21, 2015 Apologies if this has been reported already, but I couldn't find it on the "Wall of Bugs", and my search of the forums for "Substitute" came up with nothing relevant. I was battling the Grand Hall trainer with the final evolved forms of the three Kalos starters, and his Greninja set up a Substitute vs my Krookodile. I attacked with Crunch, breaking the Sub - and then Greninja's defense falls due to Crunch's secondary effect. Almost certain this can't happen in the main series games, as the target is not struck directly and hence can't be subjected to secondary effects. EDIT: I've managed to replicate it with Crunch. I'll test out other moves with stat-lowering secondary effects to see if they work. Link to post Share on other sites
