Recover Deleted Save Data?

so uh i restarted my pokemon reborn save file, and made a new one, but the rxdata from the old one is still there? is there any way i can recover it?

If you want to continue playing your old file just rename the highest numbered one from your old save file to Game and delete the current one that is game.

What I do in a situation like this is copy the last save under that file, and call it that character's name so I remember which file is which. Take your old one, which I would assume is Rusty, and rename the last save under Rusty "Game.rxdata"

As for your save under "Blu" just rename the last save under him as "Blu.rxdata". If you wanna go back to Blu, rename that "Blu.rxdata" to the usual Game.rxdata file. And for Rusty, rename it from "Game.rxdata" to say "Rusty.rxdata" so you can keep track of which is which.

Basically whichever file is named "Game.rxdata" the game recognizes, so you can alternate between files. Hope that helps.

I need help similar to the situation above. I've tried what was said above but no success. So to the problem. An error came up when I tried to save the game and the game crashed. When I opened the game back up the save file was gone. I accidentally stated a new game having expected to just reenter the game. I promptly came here for advice. I followed the suggestions above and named the latest save file as game and renamed the previous game file. When I open the game it still wants to open a new game. What do I do?

Edit: The problem has somehow fixed itself. The save file returned. However, why a save error occurred or why my save disappeared temporarily is unknown.
