Well, I have been enjoying this game for over a year now, but I've just recently made an appearance on this website, although it sucks to have my first few posts in the Troubleshooting corner. Oh well. Anyway, here's the problem. I've bought a new laptop, downloaded the latest episode 15 of the game, and pasted my save file from my dropbox account into the saved games folder. Everything should work out fine but not this time. The game crashes as soon as it starts, and I keep trying to open it again and again to no avail. It works with an older save file, but I really don't want to lose all my progress and the Pokemon I've caught. If someone could save my file below, I'll be really grateful. DashingStorm 3 Posted August 16, 2015 Share Posted August 16, 2015 While technically, transferring savefiles over from another place shouldn't be an issue, the "EndOfFile" error that keeps popping up in the 6 different episodes I've tried to load it in (being 9, 11, 12, 13, 14.6 and 15.1) have all given me the same message plus an additional message that comes up when the game tries to read the savefile. Assuming you haven't been playing other RGSS-based games and this is indeed your Reborn savefile, that message can be nullified (as it stated this savefile is incompatible with this game and would mean it'd be another game's savefile) and unfortunately, I really can't do anything about this. I don't play any other games like Pokemon Reborn, and I'm absolutely certain that it's this game's save file, but if there's nothing to do to fix this then I just have to suck it up and start over. I don't know how i can help with your save file, but i highly suggest to start over as pokemon's movesets have been upgraded a lot in episode 15 and leveling up has become a lot easier.
