Not too long ago, someone showed a picture of a female Throh, which should also technically be impossible to obtain. I'll.. -tilts head- ..I don't know what to do with this, I'll have to ask Kuro or Ame whether this is a very slim chance-essentials thing that were to randomly occur or not, my guess is that it is, perhaps a 1/255 chance or so. What I'm more interested in.. Is what it'll evolve into. Or whether it can evolve at all, considering it's a female Nidoran(M). Logically speaking, it should still evolve into Nidorino/Nidoking, but what if it were to evolve into a Nidorina/Nidoqueen? Can you post a screenshot of its Dex # as well? (First stat screen window) A-Apologies, I soft resetted, got the best Nidoran-M I could find and never went back.....If I have the patience to mine 3000 coins again, I'll replicate the scenario and let you guys know. Vinny 27 Posted August 7, 2015 Share Posted August 7, 2015 This is certainly a... rare occurence, considering that Essentials won't let me change the gender directly. This is probably an issue in the Arcade event itself, if I had to guess. And since Essentials name for both Nidorans is just "Nidoran" (Without the male/female "symbol"), yes. Most likely an issue in the event. There's this slight thing in my head saying that this might be on purpose, but i doubt it. Link to post Share on other sites

TBH I was thinking the same thing, if it's not on purpose it totally should be I'm fairly certain this isn't the first time a bug like this has popped up (though it seems to be a P common occurrence lately) My guess would have been it was the sprite messing up and not the gender, except that you also showed the party screenshot which also had the male sprite. And the likelihood of both sprites bugging out at the same time is more than a little slim (plus I think the event is only supposed to give male Nidoran? Thus this would raise the question as to why it was giving a female one) Bleh, rambling, sorry. I just find this quite curious and have similar questions to Dashie. DashingStorm 3 Posted August 8, 2015 Share Posted August 8, 2015 From here on out I can only assume this a rare occurrence regarding something in Essentials, considering the Dex data for Nidoran(M) and Nidoran(F) both state they should be 100% male/female respectively.
