ThRev 0
A brief check on the wall o' bugs and a search of "money" in the Bugs forum didn't yield anything, so I think I can post this. Since... Sometime during the Route 1 events (sometime between unlocking the route, and fighting El) my character seemed to stop losing money on fainting. At the time I was losing ~5.3k to Cain (more frequently than I'd have liked, to the "street rat" level of funds) and only realized during the Agate Circus that I had stopped losing any money at all on fainting, and gathered a ridiculous amount of money despite an embarrassing number of losses between those events. Is this intentional on the dev's part, so less skillful players still have spending money?
DashingStorm 3
This one is.. Completely new to me.. Do you not lose money when you lose against Trainers at all (even outside of Route 1)? Because it is possible to "grind" in Agate Circus to get more money.
ThRev 0
TDo you not lose money when you lose against Trainers at all (even outside of Route 1)? A quick check against Indra (the repeatable circus clown) and a random mon in Route 2 didn't make me drop money, either.
Lostelle 43
I didn't lose money when I fainted to a Tauros either when I made my Beldum video, someone pointed it out in the comments. I lost money elsewhere though.
DashingStorm 3
Could it be that for some reason, money loss is.. Disabled once you enter the arc that starts at Route 1 and onwards..? I'll have to double-check with devs on this one- Or find myself a Tauros that wipes me out real quick. I'll get back on this post when I find out what happens when I lose against a Tauros and/or Trainer on Route 1/2. Edit; I purposely made my Pokémon faint against a Tauros and it in fact did make me lose money. I'll note this one down as "odd".
