theorangeguy 0
Ground type moves are not very effective on The giant steelix we encounter even though they should be . has anyone else encountered the same problem well i am stuck at this point in the game so i would really like it to be corrected. Sin! 17
steelix IS part ground lol EDIT: also, seeing as you are new to the site, welcome! feel free to introduce yourself in the grand hall! EDIT 2: also im guessing steelix has something to do with the mountain field cant remember off the top of my head lol
Lamona 0
Pretty much that Rocky Field adds Rock type to Earthquake/Magnitude, since Steelix's typing made it 1/4 resistant to Rock type attacks, making it an equal to 1/2 of damage. Am I right?
SkyRunner 0
Rocky Field increases Earthquake and Magnitude's power x2 and adds Rock-typing. Since Ground-type attacks would normally be super-effective on Steelix and Steelix takes 1/4 damage from Rock-type attacks, it would deal neutral damage in all even though it's not very effective. Etesian 8
That's in regards to actual power of the moves, not effectiveness, so Lamona's right.

Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted July 11, 2015 Administrators Share Posted July 11, 2015 Are you not able to train up on the wild pokemon a little? There is a PC and healing machine down there after all.

Drymus 0
What team are you carrying? Also what version of Reborn are you using? If you use Episode 15, it will create a back-up save file every time you save the game, and you can just go into your folder and retrieve the save file from before you were teleported. DashingStorm 3
..Or you can just nab a Fire type, like Vulpix or Growlithe- Steelix is still extremely weak to special attacks because it has bad SpDef and is weak to Fire, Water and Fighting still.
