Cifer2050 0 Posted July 7, 2015 Share Posted July 7, 2015 I started a new game on the e15 community release and updated to the public release. Beneath the grand stairway i got the tm for rock smash. When I got to the place where you can get squirtle there was another rock smash tm. Is this intentional ? Link to post Share on other sites

I recall finding another TM a while back that I seemed to already have, but for the life of me, I can't recall which one it was.. (Just ignore the 2nd TM84.. I believe it was 84..?) Chilibunny 0 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 For the record, the TM I found in the same place was Secret Power. Rock Smash was changed to be a TMX(HM) to get Secret Power in like in ORAS. Don't know why your game read it as Rock Smash in EP15 though. Link to post Share on other sites
Etesian 8 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 ^^TM94. It's probably cause Rock Smash was TM94 in XY and Secret Power was TM94 in ORAS (or vice-versa, idk) and Secret Power is supposed to be next to Squirtle. Link to post Share on other sites
DashingStorm 3 Posted July 8, 2015 Share Posted July 8, 2015 That would make sense as to why the OP actually picked it up twice, it's because Reborn converted to Gen VI mechanics (including TM changes), which was probably supposed to be Secret Power/Rock Smash converted into the counterpart. DashingStorm 3 Posted July 16, 2015 Share Posted July 16, 2015 Just to actually clarify this incident; You're supposed to receive Rock Smash under the Grand Stairway as a TMX7. This was purposely done to avoid script conflicts when obtaining TM94 Secret Power in the Byxbysion Wasteland.
