Cassius Tain 1 Posted July 5, 2015 Share Posted July 5, 2015 Dear Reborn Team, First off I am very thankful for you programming such a great game. though it may not be the best suited Game for getting into Pokemon again, after not playing any pokemon game since Crystal it was so far worth every second of time that I put into it. This is why I am rather sad about myself, because my first entry in this Forum is about a pretty minor bug, where it should have been praising this game. The problem is, like the Title sais, that the Ability Soundproof seems to have no effect on the move "Disarming Voice" while in the wiki it sais that it should negate the effects of this move completely. It does so on every other sound based move I have encountered so far: growl, Echoed Voice, Screech and Sing. As a second, even more minor problem I have noticed that the move "Nuzzle" does not inflict paralyis with a chance of 100% like it should. the chance seems to be slightly lower, but this may also be due to some abilities that I do not have much knowledge of, as of yet. I haven't ever used disarming voice so I can't help there but nuzzle always seems to work for me on my pachirisu. Are you trying to use it on electric types because they can't be paralysed. Or it could be a pokemon with magic guard or limber which both block paralysis. Anyway hope this helped. Link to post Share on other sites

Vinny 27 Posted July 6, 2015 Share Posted July 6, 2015 Tested the Soundproof thing and can confirm that Disarming Vice bypasses Soundproof. It was probably an oversight by Ame, considering how little use Disarming Voice has. It wouldn't surprise me if she forgot about it. As for nuzzle, refer to what mde2001 said. I must say that I am of error with my assertion regarding the move Nuzzle. As I am rather new to anything pokemon related post Gen 2 and I started playing the game not thoroughly reading through all field effects and Pokemon abilities, I oversaw the effect of the Misty field that I now know to cover all of Coral Ward. This appears to be the problem why the Attack did not paralyse some times. Though, is there a field effect that negates the effectiveness of thunder against the flying type? I searched "Weather", "weather conditions" and a few similar phrases on Bulbapedia, but I can't seem to find a list of conditions and their effects. PS: sorry to abuse this thread to go offtopic with this The weather and weather conditions page both give some vague details but you are right about it not being specific enough to get much out of them. Here is a link to a page with much more detail: http://www.serebii.net/games/weather.shtml Thee particular weather condition that makes flying types weaknesses vanish is wind which is only a type of weather in Reborn or when battling Mega Raquaza. It has all the same effects as the ability Delta Stream if I remember correctly. However I haven't encountered it all that often so this may be wrong. Link to post Share on other sites
