Hunting Zorua Houndour glitch

It's my first run-through of the game. I was frustrated in trying to find Zorua, though I had gone and looked myself in every possible situation. Night/day/sunny/rainy/windy/etc. I've gone through all of the alleys, and so far it went down like this.

I joined team magma, did the two missions and cleared out team aqua. I obtained Murkrow, then went to find the fake Murkrow, he fled, found Zangoose, then I went to find the Zigzagoon, and it was Litleo instead. It still turned into Zorua and fled like normal. I found Starly, and now I'm supposed to find the Teddiursa in team Magma's hideout.

This is where the glitch is actually happening~

For some reason Teddiursa will not render no matter what day/time/weather it is. Instead, even after obtaining Houndour from the leader, the Houndour behind the team Magma leader is rendered instead of the Teddiursa in the hideout. He's behind the team Magma leader (Which makes him impossible to get to) instead of where the Teddiursa, so it's not an overlay of the Teddiursa.

I reaaaaaally want Zorua because I've learned of Ability capsules; Don't like the Illusion ability. A Zorua without it would be quite fascinating.

I didn't think the Teddiursa was supposed to spawn in the team Magma Hideout, I thought it was in the alley north of the Peridot Pokemon Center. Or at least, that's where it was for me...

Try a clear day in that alley and see if a Teddiursa shows up. If not, then you've got problems.

Also, I don't think Ability Capsules can change the ability of a Zoroark, as Zoroark has no other abilities available.

I've run into the Teddiursa there as well, so I can pretty much confirm this to be true.

As for the Ability Capsule thing; they only work on Pokémon that have multiple abilities available to them. Considering both Zorua and Zoroark can only have Illusion, you sadly can't change them. But say, your starter has a chance (yes, it's not 100% guaranteed to work) to swap between either its initial or hidden Ability.
