Busti 17
Today, I fought a Tropius lvl 41 in the Opal Ward against street rat Owen. At first I used my Luxray with Spark: Not very effective (spark). If Tropius is part flying, Spark should do 1x damage. So I tested whether tropius truly is a flying type with an Earth Power attack, which did not have any affect, as to be expected. So, why the "not very effective" message?
Raindrop Valkyrie 118
Grass resists Electic type damage as you know. However did it use Roost the turn prior to hitting it with Spark? Roost removes the Flying type therefore it would deal resisted damage.
Busti 17
No, even before roost was used I got this message
Damage 13
I noticed that windy days lower electric effectiveness against flying and electrically resisting types. Was the wind blowing?
Busti 17
Yes, the wind is blowing hard. You're absolutely right... Sorry guys!
DashingStorm 3
Windy weather now classifies as Delta Stream (Mega Rayquaza's Abilty), which pretty much removes a Flying-type's weakness, meaning that Tropius is actually pure Grass in this weather.
