arseph09 0
I have noticed that since Episode 15, in double trainer battle. Whenever I use Earthquake, Muddywater, or Surf, the only pokes getting hit by the move are the right pokemon of the enemy and the poke next to mine. If it is worth mentioning that I have experienced this bug since the Pulse Swoot quest as well as on the house quest after that. (The encircled pokes on the images are the only one getting affected) Also, if it is worth mentioning again that when my ally fainted (e.g. the Aegislash in the Pulse Swoot quest fainted) the next turns affect both enemies. I think the bug lies on the script on how many pokes can the move hit. PS: Haven't tried a battle with 2 of my pokes are out instead of only one. I'll update once I got got the chance to try. DashingStorm 3
I tried to replicate this and- - Muddy Water is only supposed to hit your opponents, so no glitch there. - Surf, Earthquake and Bulldoze all affect all targets on the field I tried a double battle with these moves on a Swampert, even got my partner (which was my own Scrafty) to faint, but couldn't replicate the things you've mentioned about the turn after affecting both enemies. Can you specify whether this has only happened in your partner battle(s) with Tania or anywhere else? :]
arseph09 0
I haven't got a chance to try a double battle without tania though. Also, on surf and muddy water, only the circled poke on the enemy side gets hit (no message showing that the other dodged or something similar) so I think thats the problem. On earthquake actually sometimes it works sometimes its not I can't filter out when and and when not glitches though. Sometimes it works and sometimes not when my partner is Torterra and Aegislash (ending up fainting torterra/aegislash and only one poke of the other, I know it's somewhat harsh to faint allied poke). Works all the time with Tropius though. In the image you see, Noctowl and Torterra were just switched out because I used earthquake, and machoke was unaffected. It happened alot on the Pulse Swoot quest which I ignored (and actually didn't notice) until it happened on this part which caused me to almost lose (It's lvl86 and is often ignoring my orders lol ). I noticed it when it didn't affect machoke when I planned on sweeping both of them on a single turn.
DashingStorm 3
That's odd, because I ran through several double battles with several trainers using Surf/Muddy Water/Earthquake and none of the things you've mentioned in either post happened to me. Using Surf made me hit all 3 targets (partner & both opponents), using Muddy Water made me hit both opponents, and using Earthquake was the same as with Surf. It can't be the field either, because your image shows no field background. It's definitely not a script bug, I can give you that much. -sigh- Miss Poptart, based Solace or Lil' Danny might know the cause of this bug. pyrromanis 70
Maybe it has to do with his Swampert that ignores orders. Each hit of a multi-target move is treated seperately and maybe there is no text that "ignored orders" for the 3rd pokemon it hits.
Alaris 85
Yeah, the ignoring orders thing works quite oddly. Sometimes it says that my pokemon ignored me but still does what I told it to do. Other times says that ignores it, my pokemon does it anyway and then it says that there was no target (and obviously it were).
arseph09 0
Probably the issue is due to my poke not following my orders. As fas as I can remember this is the first time I used swampert on a double-battle with him not following my orders most of the time. But, theory wise, shouldn't all the poke be hit by a move all at once and not once at a time? (e.g. when surf is used, originally it will be a single wave that'll hit all of them and not 1 wave for each so once the poke used it, it should hit all of them for sure right?)
