Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted June 13, 2015 Administrators Share Posted June 13, 2015 For others' future reference, what did you do to solve the problem?
BlackMage 0
I located the ZIP file and right clicked on it. Then I went to properties and under the General section, below Attributes it should be written as something like your computer is blocking the file and there should be an option to unblock it. Worked for me.
DashingStorm 3
So basically your virus scanner was blocking the .dll file that caused your game to not boot. What virus scanner were you running in the background? Could be a nice thing to know for future-possible-errors like these.

What virus scanner were you running in the background? Could be a nice thing to know for future-possible-errors like these. As of now I have no anti virus/ virus-scanner as I had rebooted the system recently. Btw, it started to happen again . I woke up today to find out the same message popped up and I did the same I did before but nothing works! Please help me .
DashingStorm 3
I'll give you a link for that .dll file, replace it with your current one and please tell me if that works or not. (and if not, I hope you can provide an image if that error occurs again) http://www.mediafire.com/download/gbhklgs1ho1x84d/RGSS102E.dll Try this. :]
Jericho 114
You did remember to extract the files to your desktop (or some other location) from the zip file didn't you?

Jericho 114
Actually one thing I have heard might work is, try disabling your anti virus for the time being if you feel comfortable doing so. I assure you there is no malware of any kind within Reborn.

Thing is I have no anti-virus yet :] and I can't install it from other websites because my dad thinks those might be malware/spyware (safety precautions). We always install it from a disc (Don't ask me how).

But if you have a newer windows( 7 or 8 I think? ) perhaps it has some already built in system working like anti-virus? I think I had windows defender or sth like that working in the backround. CrazySheriff 1
How do I access it? Try entering Windows Defender in the Start---> search bar.
BlackMage 0
Try entering Windows Defender in the Start---> search bar. I included Game.exe and RGS102E in the excluded files and folders but it still doesn't works. I might try downloading Avast and checking from there, could be a problem with the system not having an anti-virus. Man, its so irritating :/.
BlackMage 0
Ok guys, problem solved through Avast . I just had to scan and do a clean-up of all the files in my computer .
