and/or upload to your google drive. It worked for me but there will be some disruptions so that won't work not efficiently as it would.

Okay, so I just downloaded it onto my mac. How do I "play" with this save file? Do I have to download another reborn folder? I forgot to mention that there is another, newer save file on my mac, so basically, I have two different save files right now. How do I keep them from getting all messed up?

Yes, I think you need to do so

Rename the old one on your MAC to something else like game1.rxdata, then place the newer file (game.rxdata) in the same folder the other one is in.

If you want to switch between files again, just rename the files again. Just remember this golden rule; The game will only recognize "game.rxdata" as savefile.

And yes, you will need Reborn's latest episode to continue playing without possible glitches or bugs.

One more thing(sorry), I did exactly what RainbowDash said, but now when I click on the the game, it says 'Failed to load script'. Do I have to delete or add a file? Does this have to do with the FRLG text(I vaguely remember seeing something about that)?

How are you playing it on your Mac? As of 14.6, you shouldn't have to remove or change any files . . .

Oh, I didn't download 14.6, I downloaded 14.1.1 from the Reborn home page using Mega. I'll try 14.6 now.

Edit: Still says "Failed to load script" even after I updated it to 14.6.2 .

Okay, so it's been a few days, and nothing seems to work. I updated the old save file from the other computer, sent it to this computer and named it game.1rxdata. I updated my newer save file as well. But whenever I try to start the game, a window pops up saying that the script failed to load. May I please receive some further help with this?

It's not game.1rxdata.. It's game1.rxdata for your seperate savefile (the one you don't want to use anymore), and game.rxdata should be your fresh savefile.

It still says failed to load script... I really hope I didn't mess up both save files. I want to try and fix it on my own but I'm just worried that I'll press a wrong button and accidentally delete everything. Maybe it's because I'm using my Mac and not a PC?

Could you please post your save file? I've never had this issue on a Mac when transferring save files from a PC . . .

Are you using version 1.7.37 from http://winebottler.kronenberg.org? That one seems to work the best for me.

Just use Wine.app. Don't bother with the bottler. Open the Game.exe directly with Wine.app. That should work.

I still do not know how you are trying to run Pokemon Reborn on your Mac. Some programs/wine versions have more problems than others . . .

I've never seen this issue before. As Red recommended, uploading your save file could help us figure out whether it's an issue on your side or the save file in general.

Okay, so I just updated and place the newer version of wine into the reborn folder... it still says failed to load script.

I just tried to upload the save files, but the 'thing' said that the uploads failed. I'm pretty sure they don't exceed the upload limit, storage-wise.

The limit is a total limit for everything you've uploaded in the past+what you're trying to upload presently. Just in case, go to your profile>Edit Profile (top right)>Manage Attachments and check the total limit there and delete some stuff if that total+your save's size would be over the total.

Thank you!

@ TacosAndFlowers: Game.rxdata is my newer save file(the one that was already on the Mac. Game1.rxdata is the older file that I sent over from my PC to the Mac.

That's your problem. You should be putting Wine in the applications folder. When it comes to Wine, just follow the instructions here.

Just checked. Both your save files load just fine for me on my Mac with Wine 1.7.37. It must be where you are putting Wine and/or Pokemon Reborn.

The location of the Pokemon Reborn folder doesn't matter so long as the Game.exe is inside it. You can't move Game.exe, but you can make an Alias to it if you want.

Hope this helps! ^_^

Edit: Sometimes the built-in archive utility has issues with some compressed files. You might try using the Unarchiver to unzip Pokemon Reborn:

Okay, I just put wine into the applications folder, still says failed to load script.

Edit: Okay, so this is what my reborn folder looks like. Are you saying I need to put the game.rxdata file into the folder itself?

What I do is have multiple reborn folders and just renaming the folders so you can pick which game u want to play. This makes it less confusing imo. All you have to do is copy and paste the folder then replace the copy rxdata for the other one from ur pc. the folder i believe should look the same as on ur pc but with wine which alows you to play it on mac like the other guys said

Okay. So, I'm still confused. Are you running Game.exe by right-clicking on it and choosing Wine.app?

That will make Wine set up its folder in /Users/$NAME/Wine Files.

If you are on 1.7.37, put your Save File in /Users/$NAME/Wine Files/drive_c/users/$NAME/Saved Games/Pokemon Reborn.

It then should be able to load your save.

If you are using the 1.6.1 version of Wine, you can just put your save directly in the Pokemon Reborn folder and it will load.

I'm really not sure why the script is failing. Either your download/decompression of Pokemon Reborn is corrupt or Wine isn't set up correctly.
