mde2001 236 Posted May 23, 2015 Share Posted May 23, 2015 Hi everyone. I've been playing this game for a while now with no problems but today when I tried to use the menu I discovered it didn't work. When I pressed up or down it my character just sort of moved a little as if it were walking into something. It still makes the menu scrolling noise like usual. At one point I got it to flicker down to the second option but it immediately jumped back up. I checked my other Pokemon Essentials games and this problem didn't occur on any of them. This also occurs when talking to the lady at the pokemon center (eg when she asks if I want to heal my pokemon I can't scroll to no). In the pokedex I still can't scroll down but when I hit up it scrolls through every single pokemon until it returns to the top one when it stops. This makes me think it has something that is causing it to return the menu to the top option every time automatically. Does anyone know what could be causing this. There is no problem with moving around in wild battles, on the main menu (before you enter the game) and when moving around. I have also seen a few people who had viruses causing this but I ran a Malwarebytes scan and nothing was detected. I have Windows 7 on the computer and my last save was in Pyrous Mountain 1F. I haven't yet beaten Kiki but I have beaten Cal and Victoria (not sure if any of this helps but I wanted to give as much information as possible). Link to post Share on other sites
