I keep getting this error everytime I want to play. What happens is that I'll download the game and play for a bit and then ill save then I'll be done for the day and close the game. I'll want to play later on but then it will say the file corrupted error again and won't even allow me to open the game. I've had to reinstall the game at least 14 times this week. I've also been having this issue with Pokemon Insurgence and the Rejuvenation. I virus scanned my cpu 3 times yesterday (morning, afternoon, evening) and 1 time today so far. Nothing shows up on my pc. Is there a specific setting that is being changed?

Note: If I save and close the game and reopen it right after, I can still play but it seems that if the game is closed for some extended period of time the error occurs. Anyone know what is wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Edit: Just wanted to add my pc specs if that helps... http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/laptops/lenovo/y-series/y500/#tab-tech_specs

What anti-virus program do you have? I find that anti-virus software is often worse than the viruses themselves.

Whelp, after spending 1 full day sitting and figuring this out. I finally found out what was wrong with all them. It seems when I downloaded Reborn, Rejuvenation and Insurgence, the ZIP file was blocked by my pc and I had to go to properties on the zip and unblock it before extracting it. If I extracted the file without unblocking I would get get the file corrupted error. So far all the games are working smoothly, the real test will be when I go to bed and wake up tomorrow, Thank you to those that replied to my post (Even though you were of no help, =P)

For future reference: After downloading a zip, right click the zip and go to properties. Under the general tab, look a the bottom and in the attributes section, if it says your pc has blocked the file for whatever reason, if there is an unblock option click it. If not then your pc is good to go.

Hope this helps anyone who also has been experiencing this issue, it may also be the cause of corrupted saves.

Note: This was done on Windows 8, seems it has a built in protection filter outside of my original antivirus.
