[Corrupted]my file keeps deleting its self.

twice now my file has erased its self and ive lost all my game data. what is going on? i go to start my file and its shows a few error boxes that take forever to get rid of. then says my file is messed up do i want to start anew. if i pick no i have to repeat all of that. if i pick yes it erases all my data.... i was extremly sad over losing my pinny. a black and red dustox. please help.....

That means your save file has been corrupted. Unfortunately, there's nothing to be done about that; You have to start a new game.

Corrupted savefiles are unfortunately something out of the hands of anyone and can generally occur at any given moment.

The only advice I can possibly share are the following tips;

- Save as often as you can before progressing in large areas

- Make savefile backups just to be safe

- Always run the latest version of Reborn and don't mix it in with older versions (unless you're absolutely sure you know what you're doing and/or have done it before)

- Try and refrain from using cheating engines (they're just not safe to mess around with)

but why has it happened twice. i dont use cheats i save regularly and when i load it back up it says that.i havent mixed any versions. all i did was download mirror one. im scared to play it again bc i dont want to lose it again.... and how do i back up my save data?

and how do i back up my save data?

You only have to copy your save file (game.rxdata). That way, if your original file ever gets bad, you can play again in a state when it wasn't like that.

If youre using Winrar this might be the problem. I had this problem once with Winrar where when you close the game it asks you if you wants you to keep the changes you did to the files, in this case saving your progress. Try looking for this when you shut off the game so dont close your winrar. Also this might take a while but wont take longer than 1 or 2 minutes, or you need to have a real slow pc. Hope this helps for you.
