Togashi 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 Okay, so since updating to 14.1 I cannot do anything. Game starts, arrow moves to the bottom. Can't use the start menu and it didn't even fix itself when i redownloaded or tried starting a new game. I don''t know what to do, there's nothing on the forums about this yet so it seems like it's just me. Please, help. Can you please attach your save file. via the forum FAQ Q: How do I attach my save file? 1. While in posting mode, you should see an option in the bottom right corner that says 'More Reply Options', click that.2. Down on the bottom left you will see a Paper Clip and 'Attach Files', click on the button there that says ' Choose Files...'3. To locate your save file go to Local Disk (C:) > Users > [Your Username] > Saved Games > Pokemon Reborn - and select 'game.rxdata' Link to post Share on other sites
Togashi 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Share Posted February 15, 2015 I tried rolling back to the episode and same deal, that was before i redownloaded 14.1. As you can see it is stuck down at the bottom. I try moving it up, it makes the sound and flickers but gets forced back down. The most I can manage is to get it to options. Togashi 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Share Posted February 15, 2015 Uhm, just did that and no changes. I have no problems moving my character, it's the menu that I can't move anything on. The start up is fine as shown in these pictures: But then it goes south when i try to get to options. The same thing that happens when i use 'start' in game. Togashi 0 Posted February 15, 2015 Author Share Posted February 15, 2015 I would've thought that as well, but if it doesn't do it on the start up menu when I'm accessing my save, Why would it do it on those specific menues? Also, my character isn't moving unintentionally, it's just the menus that are screwy. Link to post Share on other sites

I've already redownloaded 14.1 twice I tried again to make a new game, can't choose a gender because it goes straight to 'neither' can't choose a model because it goes straight to 'left' and I can't say yes because it goes straight to 'no'. Battle menu works fine, I can switch inbetween moves and even switch out pokemon. The only thing that bugs out there is the bag. It goes straight to 'close'. This is frustrating. Press F1 when the game starts and press the Reset button for both your Gamepad and Keyboard. See if that works. Link to post Share on other sites

Pressing down whilst in the menu? Yes, it beeps and occasionally will flick to the top. Generally it does not, but that hasn't fixed it. I've pressed pretty much every button on my keyboard to no avail. Link to post Share on other sites

Kurotsune 22 Posted February 15, 2015 Share Posted February 15, 2015 To clarify: As I suspected, it was a buffer issue. Your keyboard was constantly inputting a key command. Sometimes pressing the key again re-inputs the command and makes the buffer clear itself up. If that doesn't work, restarting your computer forcefully clears all input buffers and should solve the issue every time, not just for Reborn but for any other program that exhibits a similar issue.
