jschust2 0
Hi All, Not sure if this is technically a bug, so feel free to move my post if I posted in the wrong place. I recently went back and tried to open my game using Episode 9, as I joined a few episodes after that and thought it would be interesting to check out some of the older versions. I got this error immediately after advancing from the title screen and was wondering if anyone could help me out. The game shuts down after acknowledging the error. "Script 'SpriteWindow' line 218: RuntimeError occurred. filename is nil" For added background, I am outside Apophyl Academy and have not advanced past Azurine Island--so I do not think I have advanced past the limits of the episode. LittleDevilex 8
Do you have any gen 6 pokemon in your party?
jschust2 0
Yes I did (face palm). I just deposited them in the PC and tried reopening with only older gen mon in my team. This allowed me to load the game, but my character was glitching around under the mountain on Apophyl. Is there something else I would need to do? Or somewhere else in the overworld I would have to save at? Edit: I am not sure how to upload my file, and cannot seem to find a post on it. If someone can point me in the right direction, I will upload it here.
Etesian 8
You're fine, the graphics going nuts is pretty standard when going back. Everything else works, you just can't see too well exactly where you are. Since you're at Aphophyll in E9, I'm guessing you want either an early Dwebble or an early Riolu, so just save right in front of the person/rock.
jschust2 0
I was actually going for Shroomish on Azurine. I get the general idea though and will give that a shot. Thanks!
Jericho 114
Reverting to older episodes often times leads to save files becoming corrupted, if you really feel like doing so, please, back up your save file first.
