Amada 0 Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 Perhaps I dreamed it, I'm not entirely sure. It's been driving me nuts for days now. I've scoured the internet, these forums, the game files and the FAQ for an answer, to no avail. I've played Reborn before - wonderful job by the way and lost my file due to an unvoluntary reformat. That's not my issue though, I'm not entirely sure there is an issue these days to be honest. After finally picking up the game again I noticed something very different this time around, the font. It wasn't the standard fonts we're used to seeing in these games, it was super clean and very easy on the eyes. I unfortunately lack screenshots of it, but it's unlike any fonts found in the files, which is why I'm so confused. Who knows? Maybe I'm crazy. If anyone has any information on this beautiful font I'd be happy to hear about it. It's not going to make or break my Reborn experience, but it would certainly make it more enjoyable. There was a tiny mention of fonts when booting up the game for the first time, but I've been unable to reproduce that little text blurb since. (By deleting files, reinstalling and what-have-you.) Apologies in advance if the solution is stupid or simple, I'll have you know I'm only posting here as an absolute last resort. (Aside from a reformat) Link to post Share on other sites
Cyaloom 2 Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 What was the font in the game? There's the "Fonts" folder where the game is, with the fonts inside. If you don't install them, usually in Reborn you'll see the text displayed with this font (Arial), and the game will "tell you" to install the fonts: If you install the fonts, it looks like this (it depends which one you choose, from Pokémon Diamond, Emerald or Fire Red). If you install the fonts, you can see them in the Control Panel (search "Fonts"), named as "Power ... " Is the font you see the one in the first image (Arial)? Also, you can check the Font folder in the control panel to see if the fonts you need are installed or if you removed them. (I hope I was helpful, of course ) As this seems to be your first post, you could make an Introduction thread in the Grand Hall. And also, welcome to the Reborn Forums! The thing is, that went away without my installing of the fonts in the first place. So I'm still confused. Well, regardless, you have helped me very much, thanks. Problem solved. Personally i prefere the standard Arial (which means ur first picture Cyaloom), rather the one in the original games. I find it clearer to read it So what i have to do is go to fonts folder in control panel and just delete them? Link to post Share on other sites
