Floyd 0
I've only just used it for the first time about a minute ago, but the animation doesn't make sense. I'm in a double battle and I had my Charmander use smokescreen for the first time. Instead of the animation leading towards the enemy pokemon I had selected, it covered Charmander. My question is; is that supposed to happen? It's a single target skill, but instead of the smokescreen happening on the enemy, it happens on my Charmander? Wouldn't that technically affect both enemy pokemon in a double battle? Why would one of the pokemon's accuracy be affected, but not another's if the smokescreen was on Charmander instead of them? Actually, with this animation, it would make sense for my charmanders evasion to raise instead of the accuracy of the enemies dropping. With a smokescreen on my pokemon, he'd be more likely to avoid an attack simply by evading it within the smokescreen, wouldn't he? The whole thing is just kinda bothering me a bit lol. Is it a bug or is it intended to be that way?
Infel 0
Seems like a graphical bug to me, though I only used it twice on my cyndraquill before dropping it for better moves. Overall, double battle move graphics tend to be a lil buggy.
Jericho 114
Yeah, a lot of move animations happen in the wrong location on the screen for whatever reason. More and more work properly as time goes on, but some are still bugged. It's an Essentials thing, nothing Ame and company can do about it I believe.
Floyd 0
Ah, okay. I like to use it on charmander for a little while usually. It's got its uses, but like I said, it was bugging me to know if it was a bug....lol
Administrators Amethyst 2469 Posted January 20, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 20, 2015 I noticed this was fixed for Flash in 14.5 (essentials v15) so presumably the same will be true for smokescreen
