Etesian 8
It seems that, if you want to switch out into Pokemon A, but get killed by Pursuit and choose to switch into Pokemon B, Pokemon B is shown switching in, but immediately afterwards, Pokemon A is switched in. Oh, and does Cute Charm's out-of-battle effect work? Haven't tried it, just asking.
Administrators Amethyst 2469 Posted January 11, 2015 Administrators Share Posted January 11, 2015 Noted. Cute Charm out of battle is implemented, but does it actually work? We can only hop so.
Jericho 114
For me it just shows Pokemon B switch in twice, certainly nothing gamebreaking, but it's not exactly as you described. Hmm a little further testing. Pokemon A is switching out before pursuit activates. I select to send in Pokemon B Pokemon A dies to Pursuit I select Pokemon C to send in. Pokemon C comes in, but then is immediately switched to Pokemon B So, The Pokemon that gets selected when switching out before Pursuit activates is the one that comes in, not the one that is selected upon the first pokemon getting KO'd. Etesian 8
Yeah, I mixed the 2 up, my bad. I know it's not gamebreaking, but it is a bug, so I figured I might as well report it.
Jericho 114
I'm fairly certain that Pursuit within the main series games works such that if the pokemon switching out dies there is no new prompt asking the player to select a pokemon to switch out again and immediately switches out to the Pokemon they had selected before Pursuit activated, so it'd probably be best to see about removing that second switch prompt if at all possible.
