Antarte 0
I'm not sure if this was intended to happen, but once my Torchic evolved into Combusken (Lv. 16), I was not given the option to learn Double Kick at all. I checked the new ORAS move list for Combusken and it was supposed to learn Double Kick at Lv. 16. This is in Ep. 14 by the way. Is it a bug or...? I really need the move. Kurotsune 22
Try using a common candy and leveling it back up to 16 to check. It's definitely not supposed to happen.
Sonikku 37
Reborn doesn't have Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire mechanics/movesets yet, make sure it was Lv.16 that it evolved at. If it goes past 16 and evolves, it won't learn Double Kick. If this is not the problem, then I think it is a bug.
Antarte 0
Then I'll probably have to wait until I beat Julia. At Lv. 19 right now, I just went on ahead with the story. Don't have enough Common Candies to push me back to Lv. 15.
Sonikku 37
You can buy them for $300 iirc in the Sweet Kiss Candy shop.

Administrators Amethyst 2466 Posted December 15, 2014 Administrators Share Posted December 15, 2014 Reborn does have ORAS moves; this is an oversight. Fixed. darn, it's almost like a nerf to SB Blaziken.
Antarte 0
Okay, so I just confirmed. Combusken doesn't learn Double Kick at Lv. 16. I used Common Candies to bring it back to Lv. 15 and no Double Kick once I leveled up.

I missed this one though. It'd my bad. I just checked the appropriate file and he's correct. Additionally Blaziken does not learn it either. I'll make a note to Amethyst that I missed this and it should be ok for E14.
Chevaleresse 40
Didn't it get Double Kick pre-ORAS anyway? At 16, that is.
Jericho 114
Didn't it get Double Kick pre-ORAS anyway? At 16, that is. Yes, which makes it even stranger that I somehow removed it when rewriting their movesets. All of the moveset changes should have made according to this page on Serebii. dondon151 9
What's the ETA on episode 14.1? Alternatively, is there a way that I can edit the save data such that Combusken's moveset contains Double Kick?
DJ Mewdeon ft Dan Punk 43
What's the ETA on episode 14.1? Alternatively, is there a way that I can edit the save data such that Combusken's moveset contains Double Kick? Presently we're working on getting a lot more bugs than just this one ironed out, so "soon" is the best answer. It's possible that you could edit the save or you could put your save here and I could do it for you, if all you need is the Double Kick thing.

I'd like to replace Scratch (in the first moveslot) with Double Kick. IVs are easy to figure out in the save data, but I'm looking at what I think are the moves and I have no idea what the numbers correspond to.

dondon151 9
Thanks. I'm actually just using a hex editor. It's way more familiar for me, and for simple stuff like IVs, also less confusing. EDIT: Is Double Kick not supposed to hit twice when used on Electric Terrain?
