Keeping losing save

Recommended Posts

I got Pokémon Reborn from a friend and for some strange reason, it keeps on losing my save. Is it something with the game itself? Or could it be the flash drive its on? I am about ready to delete the game because I hate losing my stuff. I had a level 25 Charmeleon that had Dragon Rage and I lost my save. It ticked me off. But please help me.

I tried that and nothing came up. Of course I am on a Job Corps computer so it is a government computer meaning I have limited privileges on it.

Edit: Wait. Do I have the actual version? I have been running it from my flash drive so I am not completely sure if I have an actual version. Is it supposed to be installed?

._. It is possible to play Reborn using only your flash drive, you just need to put your save file (if you have it) in the place that is shown in Ame's guide, and have the whole game folder in the drive as well. Also, try redownloading the game if you feel you don't have all of the files necessary to fully run the game. btw don't forget, in order to run the game you need to open the "game" program only. Don't drag your file on it as it sometimes happens.

at a guess because its on your flash drive and you probably cant save to the temp files on the "government pc" so ide guess why thats why you are losing your savefile maybe try it on your own pc or use rom hacks rather than this because you can use save states and the battery file from those gets saved to the location from where the file originates and try not to double post plz

Know of any good romhacks?

Snakewood and Dark Rising, maybe even Glazed, are my fav GBA ROM hacks. Zeta/Omicron is also a good RPGMaker one (made with the same tools as Reborn). For the NDS, Blaze Black and Volt White 1&2 are versions of Black and White 1&2 with upped difficulty and pokemon from all generations made available (online, you can find the game's "Documentation" which has text/word files which give you info on everything changed, such as items, pokemon types/stats/movepools, PM if you can't find that stuff), use DesMume and go to Coolrom for a version of the game.

Also, please refrain from double-posting. Posts can just be Edited if need be.

When you play the game a save file should be created at Users/Your Username/Saved Games/Pokemon Reborn/Game.rxdata-- so if you move to another computer you'd just need to grab that file from one machine and put it back in the same place on the next one
