I've literally tried for about 10 minutes - but its ability still stays as Torrent. Did anyone manage to successfully change Froakie's ability via Ability Capsule? Link to post Share on other sites
Tses 0 Posted November 8, 2014 Share Posted November 8, 2014 I did. I didnt knew about the soft reset when i started playing so i got froakie with torrent. when i got the ability capsule i used it and ta-da. it changed it. In the first try. Just keep trying. Link to post Share on other sites

Sheep 27 Posted November 9, 2014 Share Posted November 9, 2014 So far, from what I've seen reported across many different topics about this exact thing the ability capsule will sometimes change upon soft resetting, and other times it will not. With the latter you need to go out and buy another ability capsule to use on your pokemon. I have no idea why this happens, but it will be fixed for episode 14. I think.
