Charmeleon won't obey even tho I have the badge

I just started playing, beat the first gym leader, my game crashed and now my level 26 charmeleon won't obey me. Halp.

ok i just tried it again, the game crashed when i walked north of south obsidia ward or somethin like that

Alright, well for the first issue, the one concerning why your mini Doomfire Charmeleon won't obey:

The reason it's not obeying you is because Reborn has a very strict Level cap to make the game more of a challenge; and the level cap after defeating Julia and obtaining her badge is 25, where your charmeleon is currently lv26. This is a rather easy problem to correct though; in obsidia ward (Which I don't know if you can get to because of the second issue you described) there is the Candy Shop, it's the big building with rainbow colors and a swirlix sign on the outside. Here, they sell a special type of Candy; Common candy, which acts as the polar opposite of Rare Candy; It lowers your Pokemon's level by 1 instead of raising it. Buy one from them and use it on your Charmeleon, and problem solved.
