Weather in Opal Ward

So I have been lurking around for a while and have been playing Reborn since ep 9 but only now did I find a bug.

I restarted and wanted to get pansear but for that to work I need rainy weather. I started changing my computer date but to no avail. It seems that I can only get clear or windy weather any day of the YEAR. (I'm a persistent bastard.) ^_^

I have tested this both in ep 13.00 and ep 12 so I think that my save file's weather is corrupted. Can someone help me please? :(

Your save file is fine, it's just that you have really really bad luck with the weather assuming what you said about testing for the whole year is true, if that is so, then below is the save where I've got it for you which also needed a pokesnack which you didn't have :o, else you could just redownload E13.2 and test that out, though I'm not sure how the weather system works except that it is tied to your computer, in which case you might as well download the below save, though there are a number of pokemon that require rainy weather...

Ok, let me help you out here.

As I understand it this is the way weather works. If you move your calender forward a year (for example) then all of the weather for that entire year when you move it back again will be the same as the week you moved it to (a year in advance). It will only revert back to randomly generated weather once you pass the point at which you had moved forward to. So from the sounds of thing here, you've accidentally moved your date forward a long way, and it has resulted in you only being able to get the same weather for a whole year. Or I've been wrong on the way weather works this whole time.

Regardless of what has happened, I'm positive this isn't a corrupted save file issue.

I guess so? That's my understanding of how it works, give it a shot but keep an eye out for conformation from someone who codes the game though as it seems a bit unlikely that you might have moved your calender into next year at some point in the past.

In previous playthroughs weather used to change whenever I exited a confined place (house, cave, even woods) regardless of location within Reborn.

That would be just the daily change taking effect. Like how you switch from a clear day to a rainy one, you probably went in and out of a building so that the rain may start. What going to the Opal Ward would change would be what weather is given in a week, so you'd get a new randomized weather "scheme" for the week, instead of being locked into clear and wind all week every week.
