As seen below, I already opened the door despite not having finished the story as I'm about to face Souta.

 

If it isn't there maybe there's something wrong with your file

I got to the point where the clefairy was pointing at the candle, so I opened the fire place and now I can't find it again.  I've checked every room.

I'm at the point in the Narcissa quest in where I need to get to the backyard of the darchlight manor and there is no boulder in the hole and I can't move a boulder into it.  Am I missing something?
