You can fight the trainers at the Grand hall they give out a lot of money with the exception of Monday.
And it's not just your money that'll increase your Pokemon's level will as well although, to be honest you also have to buy berries at the mall in Obsidia to lower unwanted EVs.

You can get a Honedge in Mirage Tower much later in the game. For Deino you need three Dark Materials and a Soul Candle ( but I think you need to beat all of the gyms). And the Gible is in Sugiline Cave on the desert area (much later in the game too). Iirc you need to beat 14 gyms in order to get Gible and Honedge.
