Hello. I started playing this game recently. But I am having trouble with being, well good lol.

I cannot for the life of me get past the 1st gym. I admit I must suck, because I'm finding it really frustrating the 1st gym has a full team of 6. Here is my team:

    Monferno Lv18 (Iron Fist)

    Kricketune Lv17 (Fury Cutter)

    Igglybuff Lv17 (Perish Song)

    Stunky Lv11 (Poison Gas)

    Pachirisu Lv9 (Volt Absorb)

    Espurr Lv14 (Light Screen)

I also just got Budew but its only Lv 8 and I don't want to risk losing its happiness if it faints.

Didn't want to spend too long writing complete movesets, so I just added what their use is at this moment. The best I got was Kricketune wiping 3 of her Pokemon with Fury Cutter. But then she sent out Electrode and it just swept my team with one hit.

I've seen here users get annoyed when people complain about the difficulty, so I don't want to sound like that. But I am finding it hard to train since my only option is like grass with lv 3 ledbya and a stunky cave at lv8.

Is there some strategy I'm missing? Someone else I can catch or item I can use?

First of all, you do not suck, reborn leaders are pretty difficult to handle, you will get used to it soon( because there are a lot of gym leaders way more powerfull than Julia), so do not go crazy about that.

Your team looks good to me, but... There is a little problem, Julia's trump card. That pokemon is very hard to beat fair and square, so you have to come up with some kind of strategy... Poison him and survive might be a good strategy. However, other good way of winning is that budew you are not using. I think I almost beat her just with my budew and my braixen. The key is taking advantage of budew's attack growth. I casually have a video of that battle where I win that way IDK if there is a way to send it

did you give Cera the Magma stone? Since doing that lets you enter Valor mountain from Crawli's gym, it kinda leads to a sequence problem where Kyogre gets skipped. You need to proceed until you get Magma drift, then leave from the main entrance north of Kakori. Go back to Crawli's gym and enter from there again, this time the Kyogre event should start.

It does work, thank you so much, I'm in your debt

I beat Rosetta today. Care to tell me how to get the post-Rosetta link stone? I can't find one inside of any store. Thanks!

    Link stone

    Spoiler

The second link stone is in west of Dreamscape wildlands

The store is in Central Cellia, in the North.

The store was initially hijacked, in order to buy there you need to complete a quest before. To start the quest, you need to talk with a girl, who is in the port of Cellia(the first part you see when you enter in Cellia, when you see Ava and Connor off)

  4. I do not know how to get vikabolt.

However, you can obatain electivire evolving elekid.

First you have to obtain elekid, it is in celeste city's pokemon center, a guy gives you, I'm not sure if it was a trade, anyway, it that were the case the pokemon required is pretty easy to find, I do not remember having much trouble getting it. Then you have to evolve elekid to electabuzz by leveling up.

Finally, to get electivire you need a link stone and a electrizer.

Link stone can be got by the two old men event, or buying it in the store of celia( I think it was eight credits or ten). You can get other link stone free, but is after defeating Rosetta and I won't risk to make a spoiler

Finally, the electrizer, you have to go to the power plant in Celia, is near your mansion at the end of a street. There, you will find an electivire, you have to battle it (level70). When you defeat it, it leaves an electrizer.

Hope I made myself clear. Good luck!!

Bad ending this early on? That's pretty awesome, actually. I didn't condemn Nova, I chose the third option - which I think is a secret option you can't unlock without talking to Rosetta even when Garret tells you not to. There are more sources of insight in Dreamscape, such as the mural in the cave, and a couple of books. One of them is in the western part, the other is readable when Booker asks you to find his books. Did you have insight from these as well?

    Spoiler

Well, what can I say I suppose I´m an expert when it comes to screwing things up hahaha. Yeah, I know that option, but they made me hate Nova so I sided with Aurora anyway. No, I did not have that insight, to be honest I was so nervous for the plot that I did not thought that insight could make such a big difference, and when I got the bad ending I had already saved my files in "Darkrays room" and I think there was not way out. Anyway I had to accept its super obviously malicious offer (I mean pacting with a Darkray is pretty obvious that you will end up fucked), in order to continue with the story. I was going to create a new file with diferent decisions and a diferent team anyway so it is not big deal.

  6. For those who asked what happens if you lack insight.

    Spoiler

You die, Darkray takes your hand by force, he tells you the truth, and finally he said that if you had helped him voluntarily, he would have let you live, then he just throws you into the grid. Finally you see Nova and Lilith talking about how you were defeated because of your lack of will. Ironically, I think you get some green dialogues with Nova, which I think it doesn´t make much sense cause the game ends and in the screen it reads "Pokemon Desolation Bad Ending". It made me feel quite bad actually, I suck making decisions.

However, I think that the amount of insight you need depends on wheter you choose to help Nova or not. They tricked me and I ended up condemning Nova, so, in spite of having explored the whole house, it wasn't enough insight, so I ended up that way. I don´t know if people who are not a monster like me and did not condemn Nova need less insight in order to resist

I do not know if anyone can answer this, but:

    Spoiler

What happensif you decided not to help Shiv in the conflict with Baron? I tried that possibility but I did not see the end cause the battle with Baron started and that was not the option I really wanted, I was just trying. Does he die?

  7. Hii!! Both games are completely diferent. Both of them have a great story and are pretty different to oficial games.

Personally, I have played both and I recommend you to start with rejuv because the main difference in terms of difficulty that I found was that rejuv has more variety of pokemon when you start, which enables you to create a better team.

In rejuv there are different modes, I think you should play normal mode because if you do that you will get used to the new dificulty and to be honest, easy mode is too easy.

However, if you choose a mode and while you are playing you realise that you do not want to play that mode, you can change it anyway.

Anyway both games are great. Good luck!!

  8. Hi, I' ve looked for your problem and to be honest I do not know if I' ll be of any help, but I' ve watched  a video and the player has to interact with a monitor in order to open that door.

The monitor should be going up and then left from the position of your screenshot

    good luck

  9. Hola, voy a intentar ayudar pero hay algun termino en el q no he reparado nunca la verdad (no se si esto deberia estar escrito en ingles o español la verdad)

Set up.

  10. I do not know if I am understanding exactly what you mean but I'll try.

If the pokemon has already evolved, I think there's no way to return it to its previous state( idk if reborn has an odd stone that has that effect, but if that is not the case, you can't)

However, if the pokemon has not evolved yet, you can give them na everstone, which is an object that prevent them from evolving. Other way is to type buttom "x" while the pokemon is evolving ( this one is more tedious because you have to do it every time the pokemon levels up)

@Amethyst, I would really be happy to help in any way I can. The translation is going at a good pace (not counting a few errors).

Sorry, I don't know how this type of forum works. But for the subject who asked about the translation, there is an official club to translate it into the Spanish language.

Tysm, I' ve just joined it

  12. I love your game, when I first played I did became kinda obsessed with it in fact.

So was the essence of your game that I've always known you' ll take it again

I look forward to playing your new update, and congratultions for getting those great partners, Ruby's arts look nice and I'm sure Posty's changes in balance will be great

  13. Hi guys, I'm new on the forum, so Idk how this exactly works, but the thing is that I love this game and I would enjoy helping in anythingthat I can: the thing is English is not my first language, I'm a native Spanish speaker (Spanish from Spain to be more acurate), and if you want to translate the game I'd love to help, so think about it, I recommend the game to my friends a lot but they can not understand it due to the language barrier
