a strategy or what mon to use

Mega Aerodactyl + Excadrill can take out the first double battle. Spam Rock Slide and Earthquake mostly.

Put Mega Aerodactyl first so that it can lead for the second battle and deal with Weavile.

The same pair can take on most opponents in the third battle.

Guaranteed damp rock rain with very little counterplay (which halves fire damage and buffs swift swim anorith + a couple mons with water coverage), which in turn preserves forest field bc fire moves no longer transform it.

Worse, if one attempts to fake out Illumise and set the forest on fire, on the next turn it will set up Rain Dance again. And if you manage to kill it before it sets up rain, Shelly will send Araquanid to set up.

  3. I was playing the game-z file in the most recent download. The point in game was after the 2nd badge. As I approached the Electrike Mightyena group, things were normal. I won against both Mightyena, no problem. The glitch happened right after the battle. What I think should have happened is that the two Mightyenas disppeared, and the Electrike is still there. What actually happened was that all 3 of them disappeared, and the Litleo appeared in the far munching things. The Litleo didnt appear before that. The conversation prompt still appeared and asked me if I wanted to adopt Electrike. I picked yes and still got it.

  4. The DLC for gen 8 includes some new moves that would add more to the difficulty of the game. Disclaimer: I just wanna share new info. I'm aware Amethyst doesnt plan to add gen 8 contents and do not mean to urge their additions in any manners

Steel Roller. Physical, Steel type, Power 130, Accuracy 100. It destroys Terrain, and fails if there is no Terrain. This can be modded to work in the way that it will revert the Terrain back to the default state. It can be used by gym leaders against the player if the player changes the terrain and takes the advantage away from the gym leader.

Misty Explosion. Special, Fairy type, Power 100, Accuracy 100. It's like Explosion. Power doubles in Misty Terrain. Can be taught to Gardevoir. This can be given to Adrienne or Gossip G.

Grassy Glide. Physical, Grass type, Power 70, Accuracy 100. Becomes +1 priority on Grassy Terrain. This can be modded to worn on Flower's Garden and can go to Laura.

Scorching Sands. Special, Ground type, Power 70, Accuracy 100. Can burn opponent. It's basically Ground type version of Scald. Give this to Terra to annoy the player more.

Poltergeist. Physical, Ghost type, Power 110, Accuracy 90. Fails if target doesnt have held item. It's basically Water type version of Hydro Pump. Shade can have this. Dhelmise can learn it.

  5. Since the Onyx sisters are fairly young, like mid 20 sth, an event that makes such a big impact on Florinia is most likely related to love or romantic relationships. And Florinia herself said her emotions were too confounding, and possibly prevent her from being functional or efficient at work. I suspect that Florinia had feelings for Titania, and Titania, who's been too straightforward to the point of rudeness, refused her, or even worse, took advantage of her in some way.

  6. I think Blaziken will have a spot in my E4 team. It's gonna kick Eli's ass and burn through Laura/Bennett. It can even use a Brave Bird to take advantage of Heather's field.

The second member is none other than ze Beast, Naganadel. However, if the last E4 member turns out to be Anna, and she uses Psychic Pokemons, I might reconsider.

I can assure you that this piece of text on your screenshot is used at least 3 more times.

And as you suspected, it is a reference to Musashi and Kojiro (or Jessie and James in english....why am i using their japanese names?). As you may have guessed their little announcement rhymes in both the japanese version of the anime as well as the english version this little hommage is based on. So yeah, you might want to translate it so it sounds close to Team Rocket's spanish

    Meowth, that's right!

the Elite Four will be a completely different level of challenge than what we knew from the official games anyway

How bout their using Max Reives in addition to Full Restore. Just to casually flip off those who think they can win just through pure outlasting.

while still trying to make it possible to beat four entirely different teams with just one team of six Pokémon.

I have a legally acquired team that can steamroll the whole Glass Gauntlet, with no X item boost. Pretty sure it's not the only team that can do it. And since every non-legendary Pokemons are available now, I dont think Ame would care much about this. She even gives us a freaking Poipole. Im not sure how much Naganadel is capable of solo sweeping, but Beast Boost is pretty scary already.

  10. I kept thinking about Heather's team and finally I came up with an idea. It's gonna be a Sky Battle, with the Sky Field, and with Pokemon restrictions of the Sky Battle format in gen 6. Tis would fit really well with her Salamence, because the Sky Terrain can boost its Mega Evolution's power to even more insane levels. Also, it can throw the player off guard. Imagine walking to her battle room, only to have 3 of your Pokemons eligible for battle. Even worse, you can be immediately disqualified and blacked out if you don't have any eligible Pokemons.
