This is not really the thread to ask for this, my guy..
Anyway, try loading a previous save file before that scene, if you have backups ON then you can just get an old save and try again

It's possible.. Reborn got MAC support so it's possible that Rejuvenation might get one since the engine will change as well but only Jan can answer that for sure but I am hoping the answer is yes

Also, another question that isn't exactly for V13 but actually when the game is done and the story complete, do you intend to allow the player to do rematches against every single gym leader again but this time they all would had Lv100 teams? Just something I always wish I could do in the main series tbh

Damn, guys.. Calm down..

Listen, Gyarados for a game like Rejuvenation IS quite OP, Gyarados has a very strong sweep potential and since this isn't online matches and the AI can be abused (I sure done that a lot..) it's easy to set up a Gyarados for a quick sweep, I mean, most players see that coming but AI trainers? Nah..

About the terrain, I don't think anything need to be changed, it's true that most of the difficulty of fighting a gym leader is fighting his team on a setup that is advantageous to them like Crawli having a Forest Field AND infinite Rain (weakening Fire Types, nullifying one of his team's weakness) but honestly speaking we kinda already can manipulate fields to our advantage even before those moves.. My strategy against Souta is basically start with a Steelix with Smack Down to turn the Air Field into a Mountain Top Field and then Dig to turn the Mountain Top Field into a Cave Field and just sweep with Lycanroc afterwards, so I don't think anything needs to be changed tbh

The journey to get to it is already enough for me, I am pretty sure some of these pokemons will be tied to pretty cool sidequest like the Goominck one
I would think it actually be pretty funny if Jan pulled a Gen1 and just rewarded you with a text box saying "Congratulations! You got'em All!!"

He's still good and very much usable but just not OP, previous Talonflames could just EV train HP and Atk since the Ability allowed priority anyways so you had a quite bulky and powerful pokemon that would always attack first, specially cuz he can learn Roost too.. Now it's more balance tho', I gotta say, RIP Gale Wings, you were good son, real good, maybe even the best..

I -thing- the devs pretend to allow the player to capture ALL pokemons eventually, the reason why Magikarp wasn't added yet to the holster of capturable pokemon is a mix of, as you said, Jan not liking it and the fact that Gyarados are quite OP so I think that allowing the player to get one too early would make things too easy.

What are you guys thoughts on this.. Thing.. Developed by Tencent, I ain't touching anything that company does unless I have 7 VPNs activated but it sounds and looks.. Weird.. Pokemon isn't a game I can see becoming a MOBA.. I felt awkward all the way while watching the trailer and couldn't stop thinking "Oh god, what is GameFreak doing?", it's just a generic-ass MOBA with Pokemon skins but other than the pokemons themselves and maybe the names of the moves it feels like some mod for League of Legends, for real..

I wonder what's next.. Maybe a Battle Royale? I mean we had Pokemon Street Fighter II Super Deluxe Edition featuring Dante from Devil May Cry, anything is possible at this point and the possibilities scares me..

In my first playthrough I choose to save Maria
Not because I held the same thought process as Venam aka "they got it coming" but because I thought that between saving an adult and a innocent child, it's preferable to save the child.. The fact they committed a crime while being officers, yunno, someone that was suppose to enforce THE LAW was just a small tip on the scale compared to that, afteral, they were just paws that Gardevoir used anyways so, in a way, they were also victims

Because the Zygarde cell quest line is one of the worst things added to Pokemon.

I mean, it's the run-of-the-mill collectaton sidequest most games tend to have, I don't mind them tho' specially if the devs decide to add an extra number of cells so we don't run into the problem of accidentally skipping some and I am sure the rejuv team have things figured, fck I am getting pumped for V13 so badly just thinking of it makes me have the shakes!

About golden items. Why put them in game anyway if you cant use them without badge. You say it will broke the game? then maybe game should have been made so it can be broken by them or dont even include them in first place.

also yes battles are useless. Watching that white line where should be exp its just ridicilous. Pokemon game was made to train your pokemon and make them stronger. Story is incredible and i never say its bad. I enjoyed reborn so much because of story. That is reason I said I hate level gap cuz I cant enjoy story. Grinding for 7 hours instead enjoying story what would you choose?

Rest who answer thanks for yours opinions. I get it someone enjoy game as it is and love it and that is alright. I love when game is hard and I enjoyed pokemon reborn because of that but this level gap for me is worse idea ever made in any pokemon fan game.

The golden items are there so you don't need to waste a pokemon's move slot with a useless HM.. Reborn and even main games also require you to get the badge to use them anyway.. The golden items are convenience items, having them is a good thing since I don't need a HM slave, specially to use Fly later on, the situation where I wished golden items existed in Reborn the most was in Amaria's Gym when you needed to use Surf, Waterfall and Dive to navigate the gym, which was annoying.. Sure would love to have golden items then..

Again.. Reborn also has the gap, it's just that Pokemon disobey you instead of just not getting EXP, in the end using the common candy to get your Pokemon to obey you isn't also useless? Since you grinded all that EXP and had to erase it so your pokemon become usable in battle anyways.. Like I said, having this gap allows you to better level weaker pokemon since you can just destroy the enemy with your stronger one without worrying about it overleveling and disobeying you constantly, that's how I done it, fought the breeders with my High Jump Kick Medichan, one-shoting everything and getting tons of EXP for my newly breed Pokemon

I don't know how can you complain about grinding on Rejuvenation and not in Reborn, frankly.. I had a way worst time grinding in Reborn than in Rejuvenation mostly because Rejuvenation has the EXP All along with the EXP Share and Pokemon Breeders too with Audinos that are one of the higher EXP givers in the whole game while Reborn was just the guys in the Pokemon Center with pokemons that could defeat you and didn't even gave that much EXP anyway.

I get that people have preferences and all but it's just weird that your reasons to dislike Rejuvenations can also be applied to Reborn aside from the Golden Items which are a convenience item that would actually be a good addition to Reborn as well..

reasons:

level gap- hate it so much. You cant train pokemon without badges from gyms. That is in my opinion worse thing ever made in rom hack. I spend 7 hours grinding to so I can beat sensei keta. I should enjoy story not grinding for 7 hours. I get that game must be challenging but reborn is challenging without hard level cap. There should be option to choose what level gap you want when you start game.

Both games have level caps.. The difference is that Rejuvenation just don't allow you to pass it while Reborn does but your Pokemons start to disobey you making you always needing a couple of Common Candy on your bag in these cases, because of this, leveling in Rejuvenation is easier since you can rely on EXP Share / EXP All without needing to constantly downlevel your frontliner whenever you breed new Pokemon, not to mention after a while you get to fight Pokemon Breeders that have teams of 3 Audinos that are there for the purpose of giving you EXP while in Reborn your best option are the trainers on the Pokemon Center that fight back (hard) and don't give as much EXP.
Giving a option to choose a level cap is, I am sorry to say, a ridiculous and stupid idea.. Why anyone would choose a level cap then? The reason the cap exists is to create a challenge so you don't do the same thing in main pokemon games and just overlevel the heck out of your pokemons to beat a gym, it creates a sense of strategy and proper match-up since both you and the gym leader are on equal footing.

Both Rejuvenation, Reborn and every main Pokemon game is like that.. You can't use a certain HM until you get the badge that allows you to use, the reason for that is pretty obvious but I gonna spell it out, it's so you don't break the game by going places you weren't suppose to go yet, making the progression of the difficulty and story go smoothly, in fact, I don't even know why that is something you're complaining about.. These items are nice conveniences that I wished Reborn had, by having these items you don't need to waste one of your Pokemon's move slots with something useless like Cut, just buy the Golden Axe and never worry about that, ever, it isn't useless nor worthless and the fact you called them like that is actually laughable, I still remember how annoyed I was in Reborn when I had to get a Pokemon with Surf, Dive and Waterfall to get through Amaria's Gym.. Having a Golden Surfboard, Scuba Gear and Jetpack there would had been NICE!

Yeah.. You don't get the EXP.. Does that makes the fights less enjoyable? Are you playing Pokemon for the battles or to get EXP? Because if it is for EXP I suggest you go play an MMO instead.. Again, sorry for comparing both games so much but if this guy is going to be all like "Ugh, Rejuv is trash, Reborn so much better!" it's just inevitable.. I get people have preferences and I wouldn't mind much on that but if he's going to use such weak points that can also be applied to Reborn.. What a boi to do?
