  1. Oh there are some nifty solutions among these. The seed triggering trick room i did not know of; must've missed that in the field notes. It's nice that there are some legit ways that aren't too random (like beating the lvl100 Yveltal in blacksteeple with a lvl 5 fledgling that you find in the first are in the game which happens to have quick guard).

  2. So for all those people playing rejuv; I'm on my second playthrough atm and just beat the gardevoir fight again, but man, is it a hastle. I get why people get annoyed by gyms like souta's but for me this fight is worse. So many factors are unknown; for instance: the gardevoir typing is known, but it's stats are not. From what i could figure she has over 550 flat hp and a speed stat over 130 (she beats crobat in speed), the same speed stat applies to her support ralts since quick guard isn't blocking lovely kiss so they don't have prankster? The support kirlias are slower however. Then onwards to the typing. We know from the rift dex gardevoir is fairy-dark, but the kyrlia and ralts are not i think? The kirlia take super effective damage from water moves for example, but the ralts do not. Makes no sense to me. So, on towards the question: how did you guys beat it?

First time i beat it i struggled a lot and had to stall with tons of healing items; i think i might've used poison or something; was a whle back. The second time i put a chesto berry on a togedemaru with sturdy, instantly woke up from lovely kiss and used electric terrain so no grounded pokemon could be inflicted with sleep. I then used a donphan with sturdy (i know, but gardevoir oneshots everything with something like less than 120 special defense and 120 hp stat with normal effective moves so it is an un-fun interaction to me), endeavor and ice shard to take it out on the second turn. After that it was fairly easy. But seriously; how is this fight intended to be won?

Dude, you keep posting you need mons who are strong, perfect and shiny. Not to be rude, but the point of these games is finding and training mons. Especially reborn and rejuv are about beating the game with a handicap/weaker mons to try new strategies and find new mons that you didn't think were half decent before. The creaters only put in stuff like tyranitar and megastones at the end for a reason. So my question to you is: do you actually want to play the game yourself? If you want an easier time with stronger mons overal and earlier, pokemon insurgence is something i could recommend.

If your able to, Get an Alolan Raichu
Its speed is doubled on E.Terrain so you can EV/IV it to 252SpAtk/252Spd

That is good to use as a sweeper for when it is set up, but not for setting it up. I use a Togedemaru with sturdy so it at least survives 1 turn and can follow up with nuzzle for a 100% acc paralyze or a spiky shield for more stalling in double battle. It can also learn bounce, which has some terrain utility.

Hello friends, I’m having a really hard time finding the move tutor for aqua tail in teila resort, I feel like I’ve already talked to everyone there and I’ve checked everywhere online. Can anyone help plz?

It only spawns after you progres the campaign to a certain point (just before or after you climb mount Valor i think). And despite what the other guy said, it's not in the middle, it's on the right on the beach strip just north of the stairs from where you first enter Teila.

I'd recommend using Oranguru for Trick Room, since it's the only available mon, besides Porygon-Z, that learns it by level up. And Telepathy and Instruct can be really good for Doubles, paired with Mamoswine or Dragalge it would make for a good combination. You can catch it on Terajuma in the meadows where Orichorio can be found.

But afaik, the Amplifield Rock for extending the duration of Trick Room isn't available yet. You'd have to use the mining mod, which adds all kinds of Stone Items, to get that item.

But generally I'd say don't plan your teams too much in games like Rejuv or Reborn. In Gamefreak's main games and most other fan games everything was easily available, so planning was easy too. But in Rejuvenation every good ressource, be it pokemon, TMs or Hold items, are very late and often complicated to get, or still unavailable, so planning this out is too difficult for a first-time-player.

Just go with the flow of the game, and at most make simple plans, not so detailed ones.

What this guy says; Oranguru is good in that way and available when your team hits 35-40ish i think. However; i got Amplifield rock which does indeed extend the duration of trick room, but also things like misty terrain, from mining normally without any mods; so that one is definitely in the game (as of v12 at least). Might need to save/reload on one rock if you wanna get it early though. And lastly; you are indeed reliant on what the game gives you during the story and some items and TM will indeed not be available till very, very late (or not at all yet: looking at you ice beam in both reborn and rejuv). So yea, just use what comes your way and maybe you might even end up enjoying mons you previously didn't give a second glance.

  7. Well, speed boost blaziken is the strongest overal starter mon afaik so should be fine with that. You won't be able to get greninja though, because it's on of those starter mons that isn't obtainable other than as a starter yet, and you can only get skarmory at lvl85-90ish i think, so i'd start looking for 2 subs. I play on a harder difficulty so i'm not sure how easy it will be to sweep with only 6 mons (how far are you in atm?) as i need to swap my team around a bit for certain fights. Trick room TM isn't in the game yet either i think so unless you wanna run one of the few mons that learn it through lvl up i wouldn't go for that either.

In my experience, every mon with a def/sp.def stat of 60 or less gets oneshot at some point in the game unless it has enough (90+) hp stat or protect moves so a bit of beef in your team probably works wonders. Swampert comes to mind if you like starters and want electric coverage. Also; terrain altering moves make the game way more accessible as all gyms and special battles have terrain, movesets, items and weather stacked against you. Misty terrain is the most accessible, but electric and phychic terrain are also good in some niche cases.

Lastly there are a lot, and i mean a lot, of double battles in the game so having some attack synergies and combos among your mons can be really nice/fun to build around. I'm using a politoed with drizzle + surf and vaporeon with water absorb + muddy water for instance and i can switch out one of them for a toxicroak with dry skin for a similar effect and to cover weakness to grass.

So concluding; blaziken and mamoswine look very solid, and executor and dragalge look more like flavour picks that you might wanna tweak a bit or somewhat adjust your strat around a bit more. If you put in another steel mon instead of/untill you get skarmory you can teach sludgewave (which you'll be able to get halfway through iirc) more liberally for instance. But I'm sure you'll think of something you like.

  8. Hi, I'm stuck during the storyline because of the following. I did the tournament at grand dream stadium, then walked out, found the xen ship that takes you to the desert, but thought; lets leave the area to level up my mons a bit more and come back later. Now the train option to go to the stadium is gone and i can only pick the option to go to GDC (which is not allowed, but this seems intended). Anyway; i need to go to the area with the xen flying ship to progres the story. Can you get my char to spawn there or reenable the train or something? I didnt notice this issue for days so i have no prior saves i can revert to that solve this. Thanks in advance.
